Hey dude see the bottom of the spread sheet... The name itself is TN BC ...so all the persons belong to that category:drinking: There are seperate ones for OC,TN MBC,SC,ST....No i didnt get man they asked me to call tomorrow .The guy replied there is no one in the Admission office

I have been selected both in IIT Kanpur and BIM Trichy....(So in confusion)

Some1 please help me in knowing the best of the 2 insts.....

I heard both are almost same....I am adding the parameters that I know....

BIM:
Pros:
Good placements
Good faculty
Good ranking
Old institute(started in 1986)
Cons:
Dono (really)

IIT Kanpur:
Pros:
Brand name
Placements
Batch strength (very less)
more exposure
Cons:
not seperate insti
very new

I think locationwise both r in same postion
And BIM fees is more compared to IIT Kanpur

Puys pls pour you opinions abt this....

Im not a senior but have done some basic research abt Bschool education in India. The above mentioned points abt both d schools are true but it finally boils down to wat u want frm a Bschool. It depends on ur background, interests, skills dat u acquired over ur work ex period etc. From wat I know I can say BIM is very gud for marketing, finance roles. And IITs offer mgmt education more with an engineers(operational) perspective. If u definitely knw what u wanna do, where u wanna be after passin out frm a Bschool u can very well decide for urself which school will suit u more. Views expressed abt the schools are personal. I recommend you do more research abt both the colleges and make a sound decision.

finally , made it imt ghaziabad also
so wont join ....

if u have applied thro BC category u wil be WLed in that category.. the same applies for all
