Good to see a lot of positive attitude flowing in here...... Well i am one among those guys who had a straight reject from bim....i was almost sure of a convert after a good interview.....i personally wanted to be at bim for all those reasons proteus posted apart from the quality education frombim.but i have to accept my result.... I have been closely following this thread and i wish all the best to all waitlisters....
And also i would like to add one more info.. I personally know some seniors at bim who told that the waitlist movement have a chance to go well beyond the actual waitlist(going by previous year trends..)... Said there is a narrow hope even for me..lol...(dont know whether this will the same this year too)
(Also,A very close friend of mine has made it to bim this year... He is from sc category.. However he wont be joining...a movement of one is guaranteed... :)You could make a note of it in your sheet that you maintain)..

Are there any scholarship options for people belonging to Reserved categories??And has any waitlisted candidate received a hard copy for the same?

also plz someone tell when are we suppose to contact admissions office to enquire about wait list conversion??

Trichy is my native and I have been there for 14 yrs .......All your points are valid....I agree with you....you missed one more point....female to male ratio would be relatively higher in bim compared to other b-schools......those who read two states by chetan bhagat can relate to the pathetic situation of testosterone-charged men in iims .....hope there are some south indian girls in iim L ............

Yup.. I remember these lines from 2 states.. I wish the sex ratio is better in IIM-L . And I'm not aware of the fact that it is better in BIM.. If the trend continues this yr, it augurs well for me. Dude.

same...on 25th morning u came???? 4 ppl who got thru (MBC) aren't joining...so u can be very sure...am kinda worried..

Hey for waitlisted friends in BC 40 and above.Especially those who go for next CAT 2010 just start your preparations..Its already high time i believe .. Give a phone call after MAY 20 th to BIM admission office and know your new wait list ....Then just check this thread once in a while and update yourself,dont waste your time in this thread till July ...If it is written some where that you will join BIM this year, u will get a call even when you got rejected initially.
