I have received the letter from BIM....as mentioned in earlier posts, it says that if we want to confirm our admissions, then we have to send a DD for 50K.....I think I wont be joinging BIM.....My mailing address is Coimbatore...

buddy i can understand ur desperation.... y do u wanna know about all rejection from pg ppl itself... there are so many ppl outside pg who ll be rejecting their seats.... dont worry.u ll surely get it.....

man i m sorry the senior to whom i was chatting now is from delhi.. he says he can comment about oc wl but he is not sure about mbc wl... he finally said that a phone call to bim admin wil surely sort u out.. so give a call tomo.. they wil able to clearly explain u.. sorry i couldnt do it.


What has he told you about OC movement? And i wanted to know when we need to opt for the specialization. I'd given Marketing and i wouldnt want to join there if they dont give me Marketing. With a WL-8, what are my chances of getting Marketing? Please share the information!

Regarding registration, most probably it will be on 2nd of July as we had it last year. On registration day, you will be giving the DD for remaining amount.

And what does this initial amount come to be? That is the DD that is supposed to be given on the registration day. Do we have to pay the full fees? Or a trimester fee of 87k?

i think we need to take up specialization at the end of the 1st year.. so i dont think thats a major area of concern.. and does waiting list have a role to play in giving u the specialization which u have opted for??? i dont think so..

u got to wait till may 21.. wl movement wil be at peak at 3 or 4th week of may.

Please dont beleive these rankings. Lot of colleges will not participate in these rankings.

i accept BIM is good college, but not third , if not IIMs. Even i am in WL. Not sure about joining , if i covert it.

so far as I know(as per the discussions with siniors present at the time of GD/PI) there is nothing like specialization at BIM.We just have to take finance subjects or marketing subjects or operations anything we want...
Correct me if I am wrong.......

When you look at that survey, there were no colleges which use XAT for selection........ Goa Institute of management and many others missing!!!!!!!!!

even that's what i heard.. there is no specialization in BIM.just tat u got to take some additional papers in whichever u r interested (marketing,finance etc)

also the degree will be given as general MBA ,i guess
