I have a score of 93 percentile, I checked the site and found I was not shortlisted. I have entered the CAT ID starting with SR..... .. Is that what I should enter??

For open catagory cut-off is 94.60
And yes, you have to provide your BIM application number and cat Reg ID which starts with SR

WHILE RESERVING THE SEAT THROUGH IRCTC , I FOUND A NUMBER OF CHENNAI STATIONS ,
I MEAN CHENNAI CENTRAL,.,.,AND GOD KNOWS A MANY ELSE,.,..,.,WHICH OF THE CHENNAI STATION IS NEAR TO IFMR.
Hello Parth,
First of all congrats for getting shortlisted and secondly for raising such an important question. In response to your question I would like to tell you that I am from kolkata and I have always felt regretted for the decision of selecting BIM for doing MBA. The reasons are as follows-
1) Favoritism towards students depending upon the region to which they belong. e.g. more north Indians failing each and every trimester and also getting very low CGPA's except few exceptions.
2) Unavailability of college building (it's running on rented building from BHEL from whom there is always a threatening to leave the campus, still it's running there only and there are no signs of shifting it anywhere else)
3) Frequent problems ranging from power cuts( college has no backup system), water shortage, pathetic net speed and poor food for people especially North Indians. Even South Indians also occasionally take food outside only.
4) BIM always boasts about value based education, but the reality is that the quality is pathetic. Most of the profs don't know the way to teach.(They call guest faculties which are entirely from South India and have passed from any one of the IIM's at sometime. Believe me they are the worst teachers you can find anywhere. The main focus is on mugging and repeating it in exams rather than understanding anything)
5) This time I think like every year they will be showing the salary figures too high to attract students, but don't go by such figures because they are very good in number crunching. Whatever they show will be less by around 1L per category.
6) To generate extra money there has been frequent cases of students being failed by the office and they make money in the name of supplementary paper and revaluation paper.
7) North Indians have got less pay packages because the companies here prefer South Indians only.
There is corruption at every level and politics goes on between the permanent faculty.
9) Also all the money collected from BIM, Trichy is being fed to the BIM Bangalore which is separate institute of one of the former corrupt Director, so Iam not sure that whether the brand BIM will prevail in the future at all.
10) BIM expects students to do everything for it, but does very limited or nil things for them.
11) Last, but not the least for you guys the fee will be very high and I am not sure you guys will be able to repay your loans easily with the placement which you will get.
So I'll suggest for North Indians it's a suffering which they can choose only if they don't have any other option.
my GD/PI has been schedule at 26th channai IFMR college.
What other venues are there and will it be possible to change the venue?

Iassume you are coming from a place outside Tamil Nadu.
Please select MAS - Chennai Central. Itsis the last station where all training from places other than TN would Stop for sure.
From there you can take a Bus/Auto accordingly.

My GD/PI is scheduled on 16th 9 am in trichy and I need to change it to some other date since my NITIE call is on the same date..
What shud i do..?? Pls help..
