50k? What about the 50k? I got the letter today and it doesnt say anything at all!! Where did u get the 50k thing from?

previously , ppl who converted the call were asked to pay 50k and waitlisted ppl 5k...since you have moved from wl to convert ,i guess,u got to pay that 50k......

if u call the admission office they might clear it properly

Well I wonder why they didnt mention in the letter!
I have sent them an email regarding the same. Will give them a call 2mro or so.

Hi Puys... My WL got cleared(BC WL-10). I received the hard copy of the OFFER LETTER today..

This is for the benefit of others who haven't received the letter yet.
The following is the content of the Letter.

There are 2 and only 2 things We need to do now.

1) Send an e-mail stating our willingness.
2) Send Hard Copy of our willingness letter thru post.

We need not worry abt any fee(Rs 50 K) now. The Institute will intimate us thru Letter about the Fee to be paid after we send them our willingness letter.

Revert to me if U hav any more doubts.

As far as Registration is concerned, I have no idea Dude.. But I guess all Selected Candidates would get a letter soon(probably in a week's time).

reason no 1: I got HR n am not interested in tat
reason no 2: I an a keralite so prefer some place near home n friends
reason no 3: The placements at BIM for 2009 r way better than at IMT....... I checked the mandatory disclosures

I am also in. was having waitlist 2-OC. But one thing is very disturbing, college not disclosing the fees. I have left all my converts and now decided to join BIM but if at this end it will behave like IMT by increasing the fees then we have to suffer. Atleast this much clarity is expected from BIM management.There is lot of difference between 6-7 lacs and 8-8.5 lacs, atleaat for me..

Seniors please clear some confussion regarding this.

in the prospectus they gave us .. it comes to round 5.3.. add to this mess expenses... but I have also heard this 7.5 figure.. so don't know.. hope some seniors passing by this thread shed some light

5.3L is the exact figure..7.5L was wrongly updated in the website and hence removed it now.

no.... it's just for academics... for last year it was totally 7L (academics+hostel+mess+lappy +misc)....

if it's going to be 7.5L for academics itself i think it's very difficult for me...


according to prospectus.. 5.3L includes acads plus room rent??
n we can bring our own lappy rite???

U can choose ur specializations in 2nd yr..( major and minor)...and yes BIM mba is more or less general..it all depends upon the combination of subjects that u choose..

Yes 5.3L includes all except mess related expenses. Lappy fee is not included in that. But then u can bring ur own lappy also..

is that so... then some ppl will simply hold the seat till the very end ,if they are not asked to pay that 50k..then we waitlisted ppl have to suffer - not knowing the status till the beginning of the coll. what sort of policy is this by bim ???? it's disturbing....
