i can say only about my process.... we were asked to just submit the check with our names and no. written on the back.... then they sent a receipt afterwards... we were not asked to submit anything at the very onset...
for your batch i dont think it should be any different... but just to be sure check your admit letter once again.... if anything is needed....it should be mentioned there...
cheers!!!
Payment this year is to be done by Real Time gross settlement which is a better option as it takes 3-4 hours for money transfer and no hassles of mail and courier But how and when do we send the undertaking . \also we shud get the official letter on college letter head duly signed by director or admissions chairperson for us to pay the fees. i cant transfer such a hefty amount based on a congratulatory message on internet

Guys, for those interested in loans, I found this on the SBI website. They have a scholar loan where SIBM Pune features in the list of eligible institutions for which the loan can be taken. Online application can also be made as I see it there. Rate of Int - 11% as on date.
Sirjee, please use the Private Messaging option to ask personal queries. Keep the thread clean and use it only for queries/info related to the SIBM Final results.
You can send a private message to a user by clicking on his profile and using the send private message option.
A heartiest congratulation to all the converts of SIBM-P ........... we welcome you all .
For the waitlist/ Rejected guys dont loose hope real action starts in Mid-Apr- MAY to early of June. I was among the last few guys to enter the clg (only 10-11 ppl joined later). I was initally rejected bt got my confirmation on 19 June 2010.....and now sitting happily on 5th floor of SIBM campus................. so all you guys dont fret.
About the money in short duartion ....many bank including (SBI.... to my memory) provide SIBM-P specific loans under Scholar loan scheme ....so people can get their loan sanctioned pretty early...as ppl there will understand their emergency................ Last year ppl did the same thing.......So just keep your all documnet upadated...
So hope to see u all there in SIBM-P campus
CIA:D!!
Hmm Going forward I think this year it would be a month sooner as CAT results are also out on time plus more IIMs added to the list. I just hope its out on time before I join other lesser good institutes.
The deadline for fee submission is 7th march and I have a few queries about the education loan and how the money is to be arranged. The queries are-
Can the bank provide loan for the 1st installment OR it is to be borne by the individual only ?
Does SIBM has a tie-up with any bank for educational loan ?
I have other calls as well. So, if I take the loan to pay the first installment now and later decide to not take admission, Then Can the bank allow me to do the same?
If I pay from my own pocket, and decide not to take admission, then how much time would it take for my amount to get refunded ??
It would be great if you could help me out.
Looking forward to your help Regards Robin jain Noida 9999220504

Additional questions:
i) I am zeroing on SBI Scholar loan, is that the best or are there better options?
ii) We need to show offer letter to the bank, so when can we expect a confirmation letter from the college?
iii) Will the confirmation letter contain the fee structure for both the two years? Need to show the same in the bank so that they sanction the entire amount at one shot. Currently the fee structure available to us is only for the first year.
hey seniors,i have a few queries, it would be nice if someone can clarify them
1)Is pre-induction an on-campus program or is it something to be done@ home..Is is mandatory to attend if its on -campus , and if we are working somewhere then is it possible to join directly in June 2)Is acceptance of resignation letter required before 7th march if we are working in private company or just relieving letter at date of joining i.e 6th June do. 3)Regarding Migration and Transfer certificate. Is it to be produced by 31st august 2011 or 6th June. Because my university gives those certificates only on presentation of a fee receipt which would be provided on 6th June as per the letter.

Thanx in advance
1. no pre-induction is an online event...... the IT team will get in touch with you shortly with all the details...
you DONT have to be on campus before 6th JUNE
2. no idea about resignation letter.... better ask ART about it.....
3. migration certificate is needed before 31st august.... i myself submitted mine on around september because of unavoidable circumstances...
I posted the same question in the onBoard SIBM forum and received the following reply from vihay pareek Please find the answer to your queries below:
1. The Pre-Induction program is conducted online. It is not conducted on campus. 2. You will need to produce a resignation acceptance letter on the 7th March. The relieving letter will be required once you join the institute on 6th June. 3. Your fee receipt will be couriered once we receive your payment. It is difficult to understand why a University/College would not issue a TC/MC only on a fee receipt.
