What is showing Registration closed? It's working perfectly fine. Please don't speculate unnecessarily that may lead to panic and confusion. The last date for closing of registration is 30th November. That's still 3 months from now.

REGISTRATIONS VERY MUCH OPEN....

hey sorry i by mistake landed up on the last year registration web page.........

nd ya the registration is very much open at xlri.ac.in and not at xlri.edu

are we allowed to change our test centre? no such info is given on the website. i think last year we were allowed to change test centre upto a certain date. can anybody confirm?

First of all, nice name dude, Ace used to be the best of the centurions..:cheers:

Secondly, XAT will certainly have an option to change the centre. But, that must be informed to the admission autorities before 18th Dec. (the date when xlri.net.in displays the respective centres for all candiates)

Call 1800 102 1123 ; 1800 103 1123 helpline nos. for info regarding the same.

I read in the previous posts some of the glitches with the application

* Not able to select 'other' colleges or in the final page these not showing up

*To and from details of work ex getting jumbled up

* address details getting jumbled up...

* etc... Etc....

Wanted to ask if these details are sorted out now ? Has anyone who has filled sometime back , faced these issues ?

I am planning to fill the form this week and wanted to confirm..

Well I dont know if you are referring to a new registration with no glitches...but for the ones with registered glitches like mine (graduation TO FROM years jumbled up), no change.

Puys is there any way to edit the provided details?? Absence of the editing option is simply $#$%#% :-(:-(. What will I do? suggestions puys?? I got to call the helpline tomorrow and fix this!!! Grrr

Well buddy, I think new registrations have no issues now. We have a confirmation from rono9 (hope he was referring to new registrations).

In XAT registration they have asked to send PP slip and payment receipt.
I made online payment and got only PP slip, no payment slip.
what exactly have to send at XAT office???

Hi there, I am an Final year appearing candidate and applying to XAT. I've heard dat XLRI takes only the students with a work-ex and nice academic record. But I've an avg. academic record and no work-ex since I am appearing candidate. But I am quite sure that I'll score good in XAT since I am good in aptitude and english.
So, my query is ---Should I apply for XLRI or it will be simply the waste of money for me even if I score good in XAT?

college got into XLRI wid very average acads atleast
in B.TECH(which i am sure).and the engg. college
is also not so renowned...
So,u dont need to worry about all these...
Just give ur best shot in written as well as
gd/pi n rest all will b history...

And,this is wat motivates me too,to crack
XAT,though I do have decent acads n extra-
curriculars too.me too a fresher...

GUYS pls help me on 1 thing ... i hv done my graduation but i don't hv the marks or the degree as yet ... so what do i do .. icannot fill the form without leaving the marks column blank ... or the entire graduation part blank .. pls tell me what should i do ...

I wanted to know for those who have registered online do we need to send the things in a special envelope or a normal envelope will do . i did not buy the prospectus but filled the entire application online. Please let me know asap.

"The candidate has to enclose the duly completed XLRI PA Form and photo copies of 10th, 12th and graduation certificates (or latest mark sheet of papers/years completed till date) and SC/ST certificate (for SC/ST candidates only) through courier/registered post/speed post in the
special envelope given inside the prospectus"

I submitted the XAT form successfully. Please ensure the following things b4 submitting:
1.Please maximize the browser window.
2.Dont use old browsers:nono:.(i did it in opera and voila it works). Better try in IE 7 or mozilla/opera/chrome.(IE 6 failed:sneaky:).

I think u should give the latest marks of ur graduation(till date). Better confirm it calling the toll-free number specified previously in the thread.

dude i faced the same problem.....actually the mistake is ours......aftr the transaction we had to print the slip which ws displayed on the screen....
i calld on the xat cust care line.....and they asked me to send the pp form only......and yaa they noted down my name,phone no.....i suggest u do the same....:)

Now some of the previous posts here seem to imply that we were supposed to enclose our marksheets along with the form. Is that required.. If that is the case not good for me. Please throw some light on this

nope no 10th 12th marksheet.....tht is for applyin to XLRI separately.....for XAT it is not reqd....:)
