i don't see d last date 4 xat registration on d website.normally registrations go on till november.can any1 help with d registration window period?:)
1)what is fees of xlri registration? is it mandatory to fill up the registration now...i mean can i not able to register xlri registration window after xat exm?
2) if i will clear the cut-off marks then will i need to purchase forms of different mba colleges under xat or they will send ....? please provide detail information regarding admission/// reply

1).Dude, regarding the fees and other details abt registration, visit XAT / XLRI Online Registration. Everything is over there. And u can't apply for XLRI after XAT exam according to ur marks in XAT. Last date for application to XLRI is 5th Dec.
2). U will have to apply for separately to each of the institutes u want to i.e u have to purchase the forms of each institute u want to apply in. U will have to give the name of institutes aprior itself i.e while registering for XAT. So, pehle hi make up ur mind ki kis institute me apply karna hai. They may send u the call letter if ur score is good in XAT. But u will have to buy their prospectus to appear in their GD/PI.
950/- is only the fees to appear in XAT exam. And same is the case in CAT and MAT also.
Raghav could you please suggest me of some study material for XAT. I have been preparing for CAT all this year but I'm also eager to take XAT. Would it be wise to continue with my CAT preparations while practicing XAT mocks?

XLRI registration fee is 1050 for one course and 1500/1600 for more than one. You will have to register for XL before giving XAT..else how will they earn money...:)
2) Just like XL, you need to apply for all colleges under XAT BEFORE the XAT exam. At least the good colleges like XIMB, GIM and Welingkar want that you apply before the XAT exam is given. Once you apply, they send their prospectus and everything.
Now once the result is out, XAT office sends the scores to these institutes and in turn these institutes send you the call letters. But be cautious, some institutes would want that you send your score individually too. For example, consider you apply for GIM. Now XAT will send you score to GIM and GIM website may require that you submit your score individually to them also...be vary of this thing and keep and eye on the website of the institute that you are applying to. I hope this helps...else let me know...

If you look back in this thread you will come to know of your answer....
just to re-iterate what I posted earlier...you need to compulsorily register for XAT to give XAT exam but to register for XL is a choice that you have to make based on the fact that you want to apply for XL or not.
Remember this --- Applying for XAT DOES NOT MEAN that you are registering for XLRI. Though XLRI conducts XAT, you have to register for it separately.

see when u say .9 years it means .9*12 months which is arnd 10 months and 24 days.
9 months wud translate into .75 years which is wat u can put in the application

XLRI registration can be done only after XAT registration. Besides it is not compulsory to apply for XLRI. Its upon ur wish. Why don't u read the instructions
on the website???
