All the best!!
Guys don't believe in speculations unless the pattern is confirm by some authentic source. Generally pattern is not revealed beforehand. GK has not been a part of a XAT since some time now. I don't think there are chances of it coming back. But then again we can't be sure. We'll let you know if we come to know abt any such change. Prepare hard!!!
I registered and paid for XAT on 3rd Sep and I almost forgot about it till today. I just read the details of the registration process carefully and according to it, the PA form needs to be sent within 7 days of registration.
Is this it?! Is there no use of sending the form now? I've been calling up the helpline no. since an hour and there's no response π
Please believe in only the information provided by the authorities. The XAT website clearly states that the exam would be of 150 minutes and not 140 or anything else. The breakup would be 120 minutes for the written exam, 10 minutes for a short break, this would be followed by 20 minutes for an essay(like last yr). XLRI has not declared anything about the pattern of the exam.Exams like XAT, do not release their pattern beforehand and this gives phony websites and institutes a chance to come out with their own "patterns" and by this they lure students to join their courses that would help them to "crack XAT's new pattern" or increase the popularity of their site.

Continuing on ajay's post, the article which mentions this format is about a month old. That is before the registrations had started. So, in that sense also it doesn't have any credibility. Why would XLRI release the format of the test before it has released the date and the notification for it?
