Hi,

I have done Management and Marketing of Insurance from College of Vocational Studies (University of Delhi) in 2007 with 57% marks and have 3 years of work experience into a recruitment company.I am interested to pursue full time MBA.Please advise if i am eligible for MBA-HR from this institute and also they give any weightage to experienced candidate.

Hii everybody i have a doubt too.I have bought both XAT and XLRI forms.do I have to submit my 10th and 12th mark sheet xerox as well??and if further degree course is asked what should i submit.....I am in 4th year of BE and my university has not issued 6th sem mark sheet yet.so what should i submit in place of mark sheet??

Yes you are eligible for full time MBA at XLRI.XLRI gives calls based on cut-off percentiles,they do not give profile based call.A very open and fair selection process is followed.

You may be registering on last year's link.Check that.

hey guys made a mistake while selecting the courses of XLRI i ticked GMP which is course for working executive...but i have no work experience...will it cause any problem during selection in other two courses FPM and BM( if i made it into XLRI) pls help me...


No it won't be a problem for other courses,so relax and concentrate on your preps.Just make sure you have deposited the right amount to select the number of courses as you have selected 3.

Thanks for your quick response!Would like to know more about placements in HR function in XLRI. I have done mostly recruitment till now but would now like to learn about different head office HR functions like HR strategy, talent management, Employee Engagement etc. Would the MBA in HR help me in getting knowledge about these things and also chance to interview with firms for these jobs..

Please track the delivery status online.Speed Post/courier.If its showing as delivered,then they have received it.

Last year XLRI had a system in place to inform the students about the receipt of application ..
This year there isn't anything like that in place! :sneaky:

Unless of course you track your courier/speed post .. which in my case was speed post and it seems these guys are taking hell lot of time to update it online !

Have registered for XAT but it seems I have made a mistake. I have left To Date as blank in my work experience as I am still continuing in my first job. Will that be an issue?

Hi guys,
I have already applied to XIMB through the online mode. However, an error has crept in in my application. In my personal details, in the address section i have my state is showing as "Manipur" whereas it should be "Karnataka". It would be very kind of you if you could let me know how this error could be rectified.
