hi, don know if this the right forum to put in this query. I have some editing to in the basic information that i had provided ( alteration in my graduation percentage) is there any way for me to do that?
Buddy...as far as I know, editing of information is not possible once saved. I tried to do the same, as my graduation years got interchanged. I called them up and mentioned the issue, they said it's not a problem (in my case).
So, the best option would be to call them up and confirm if anything can be done.
I had registered for XLRI long back..but made the payment just last week (on Oct 1st, 2010). But my XLRI PA form dates the transaction on 02-Sep-2010 :shocked::shocked: .. And I am supposed to send the form within 7 days of payment right?? WTH :wow::wow:
Should I call them up before sending the form or shall I go ahead and send it??

yes as per rules u gotta send the form within 7 days !! And as u have crossed the time limit it is better 2 ring them up be4 sending !! best of luck !!

if u r talking about XAT, no there is no way of editing once registration is complete !! :nono: re-registering might help but as " saTrisha " mentioned better call them up be4 trying anything !!

And the site says ".......photo copies of the educational certificate should reach the Admissions Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days from date of online payment made.". And am just in the 4th day as of now .
So, all I want to know is, am I safe to send the form? Or should I call them and tell them about the discrepancy in the date?

i had made d payment online and dint take a copy of the online transaction receipt. i cald up d help line n they said its ok if u dnt hav d receipt jst snd d PP form. so i think its ok to jst snd d PP form. hope ths helps othr ppl with similar problm
For those who have applied online, have they received XAT Brochure by post (after sending the XAT PP Form ) ? Or any idea by when will XLRI be shipping the brochure to us ? I understand that this will mark that our application got submitted and is verified well. Online status seems not getting updated.

XLRI people told that the online link to check the status of our application will be available after 10th oct.
in xlri web instructions it;s said that after receiving acknowledgement form we shld send the pp form in seven days i have appilied online .can any one halp me plz.:shocked::banghead:

I filled the XAT form long time back, but since then I was unable to go to the bank and deposit the fee. Is it ok if I do it now ? or do I have to register all over again and proceed further. I hope there was no deadline for this activity, though there is one after depositing the money (we need to send the docs to XAT office within 1 week). Correct me if I'm wrong..

You have to fill separate form for XLRI & other institutes that accept XAT Score.

Well some puys had contacted the help-desk and it seems, the option to check application status would be up by Oct 10th. Other than that, there is no way to check application status (as of now).
Alternately, you could call them up for the status.
