Thanks.There is an option for General management programme as well. How does this differs from Business Management. Please elucidate.
I'll try to classify between the 2 courses on the basis of eligibility criteria !!
In order to pursue a General Management Programme u must have a full time job & must have at least 5 years of relevant managerial experience as on March 31st, 2011 after completion of graduation !!
Whereas in order to peruse the academic programme of Business Management from XLRI u need to have a bachelors degree from a recognized university !!
hii...I had sent all the forms and documents(both for XAT and XLRI) on 22nd sept(almost 14 days back!!!) thru speed post to their office. I havnt yet received any confirmation mail from their side regarding whether they have received my documents or not....last year they had sent mails upon receipt of my documents... Am a bit worried..puys plss tell me whether any of u hv recieved any such kind of confirmation mail upon receipt from their offce?And if so after how many days of sending ur documents?
no reason to worry brother, though this year they are not going to send any confirmation message but a link is going to be uploaded from 10th oct to confirm our application status !! hold tight till 10th !!
I have sent my application both for XAT and XLRI. It shows delivered on the courier website. What next? In how much time will the status get updated?Is there a way how we can check the status online on XAt website??

I am a 2010 passout in B.Tech, out of the 8 sems, (in fact s1s2 combined , s3,s4....s8 ), i hv cleared juz 4 sems n hv one backlog each in the other 3 sems. It's exams r due to b held next month, n the final result will b only out by Feb.
For applying to XLRI, itz mandatory to send our degree certificates/marksheets. In my case what am I supposed to do?? juz send the marksheets of the cleared sems as for now????
I have registered for XAT by tendering 900/ at the AXIS bank. Now i have received this bulletin which states that i have to register for XLRI separately with 1600 depending on the the number of courses i choose. Also i need to send the Pay in slips for XAT & pay in slip for XLRI seperately.
It is out of my understanding that if i have applied for XAT then why am i asked to pay separately for choosiing courses in XLRI when the exam is conducted by the college itself. 2.) Whta is the purpose of opting Associate college (XIBM) if i don't opt or apply separately:shocked: at XLRI?

Puys, I am a late starter for this exam... pls help me by putting some study material / practice paper for Analytical reasoning, Logical reasonong and decision making or if somebody can name some good book or so.
