Puys, I am a late starter for this exam... pls help me by putting some study material / practice paper for Analytical reasoning, Logical reasonong and decision making or if somebody can name some good book or so.

buddy you are not late by any means,rather you are starting at the right time.xat emphasises a lot on your concepts ,so be thorough with the concepts of all chapters specially on topics like permn,probability,geom,log,number system,function and graphs.the best thing is you get your hands on previous 2-3 years xat paper,this will help you to better understand the types.
di there is no different section,it is clubbed with quants and the only way to ensure good marks is practise.

lr in xat is more or less solvable,but with lr there also appears a type called ethical dilemma.get hold of the book 101 ethical dilemma,but first see the xat papers of prev. years to understand what type of question are asked under ethical dilemma.

for english have good grasp over vocab other than grammar.and xat rc are bit cr type,so practise them i.e cr type questions.other than this read figures of speech ,the notes of which you will find here on pagalguy.

I have sent my XAT form almost a month back but have not yet got the bulletin. Has anyone got it?

Hi All,

I had filled my XAT form on 26 Sept and the same was dispatched through speed post.Still I have not recieved any confirmation from XAT admission department. Secondly, Whenever I try login onto the XLRI registration page, it is prompting me that XAt registration is not complete please complete it first.

Note:- My mode on payment was Online
Please let me know if the same problem is faced by any one else.

i am yet to register for xat thru credit card ...while going thru d instructions i read the following...."
The candidate has to enclose a copy of the XAT PP Form and send it by courier/registered post/speed post so as to reach XAT Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days of receiving the payment acknowledgement date"
.
can anyone plz explain me wat d last line mean?when and how do we get the payment ack date ?
also is it necessary dat a printer is attatched to my pc while filling the form? i mean is it possible to save the details and log in again frm the cafe fr jst taking the print out?

we all are waiting for any news or bulletin, so that to me is normal but ur second query seems to me as abnormal ; try to log in again, if problem persists i strongly advice u to call the XAT helpline !! :shock:

Fill in all the details, pay thru card & u will now be able to download the xat pp form, u just have to send the pp form within 7 days of ur payment
date !!

as it is a downloadable form(.pdf file) u don't need a printer attached with ur computer, u can take a print out later !!

Are you visiting xlri.edu by any chance. That is the portal for the last year's admission process. For XAT 2011 you should be going to xlri.net.in

i don't think there is any procedure to change the test city once registration is complete, re-registering might help but u should call them up be re-registering !!

hi i have not yet purchased xat form can anyone tell me wat all document sare required to be sent. my another problem is that my 2nd year result is out but dont have either net copy cos of server problem and nor certificate. so is there any option that i can use
