any idea about when xlri-hyderabad is gonna start???
are they gonna start this year??
i read that they have already been alloted 60acres land by the andhra government.

I just called the XLRI admissions office for the status of application form, they are saying to wait till 25th October and status will be updated on the Website. .

Hey Puys,

Sorry for being out of action for quiet a long period of time, but have Ensemble (The XL management fest) and a few things keeping me busy at campus. I hope you are having a nice time filling up the form :). Yes, there is a campus planned at Hyderabad but when it is going to be operational is anybody's guess (Not for the coming year it seems). If you have any specific query related to XLRI/XAT, you can PM me. I would be more than happy to help. Till then have a great journey.

HI puys. Im a final year BTech student, expecting my final (8th sem) exam to be over by the end of June 2011. after that there will be project presentation n viva for a couple of weeks. So everything will be over by July 10th probably.

regarding Final year candidates, XIMB website says this:- "Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2011 may also apply. Offers of admission to such candidates, if made, will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the event of their failing to complete all the requirements for obtaining degree before June 15, 2011. A student after joining a programme in this Institute will not be permitted to sit for any examination of any other institution or agency."

XLRI website says- " You need to complete your final year exam by June 10, 2011

So am i eligible ? Are they really strict about these dates? or are they flexible? Thanx in advance !

I am relatively new to this community but even in this short time i have had a great time reading all posts....:D

I have query regarding XAT 2011. Actually I have regsitered for XAT but that was done on 13th of sep. I was careless in reading the instruction carefully and have nw realized that the PP had to be sent withen 7 days of the payment Acknowledment. Will the pp nw be accepted or will i have to re- register again?

Also Do we have to separatly register for XLRI.

Please help me with this.....PLEZZZZEEE

not to worry xlri is flexible with the time limit, they'll accept it despite ur delay & though re-registration is an option but u don't have to re-register.

just call them up ( xat helpline ) & debrief them, they'll ask u to send it, the reason m telling u to call the is to avoid risks of getting the form disqualified !! why take risks !! :nono:

And yes u have to register for xlri separately !!

do colleges which accept xat scores emphasizes on grad. scores besides xat scores or xat score is enough for admission in any college ??

so here goes .... i registered online and bought the prospectus and form from axis bank about a month ago, but compelled by habit and i did not bother to open it and fill it until day before yesterday , only to discover that it says that the filled up form should reach them within seven days of buying the bulletin, although i immediately dispatched the form once i found out. i am now very worried and anxious about the possibility of rejection. further xlri hasnt even provided us with any means of finding out about the application status.

plz help.

donno if this will help; xlri is often flexible with the time limit but u better call the helpline and explain them ur state of problem & wait till 25th as it is supposed to be the date when they post a link to verify our application status ( according to a puy ) !! :wow:

xlri,gim,ximb definitely give calls on the basis of xat score but ur profile does come into picture during gd-pi!

can't say of other colleges but for xlri jamshedpur high written score coupled with a good essay writing and a blasting gd pi will more or less see you in jamshedpur season 2011
