buddy i am no saviour,but you keep your mind free of these doubts and singlemindedly study and aim to get into the best of best.if you have good score and during the gd pi you are able to justify the reasons for your not so good marks honestly there is no reason why you won't get a chance in xlri.i know many students who have got through top 10 management institutes of india only on the basis of a high written score and blasting gd pi and not possessing very good marks in their previous academics.
Can any one pls tell what we have to fill in the qualification sectn in the xat form while filling up the education details? Do i have to fill the board name from where i have done my 10 and 12 or i have to write the name of my school similarly for the graduation one also do i have to give the name of my university that is bhu or my deprmnt that is faculty of science? Kindly whosoevr has filled the form ans ths its urgent pls............

Hi Puys, Facing a strange problem.....Every time I start registering for XAT 2011, in the first page where we are supposed to fill in the personal details,when I click on Next button after filling in the necessary detail, its telling me to select any associate institute. But I have selected the associate institutes and they are visible on the page also...... Any thought on this??????????
yup.. i think i would make it 50 .......n m sure about it.. nd am gettin 95-99 %tile in mocks more than often ..! just keeping my fingers crossed cuz it all depends on the cat xam DAY ........

think the problem is with ur explorer, shift it, maybe try with IE 8 !!

Now, I cannot check my application status. Also, noone is picking up the helpline numbers given in the website. I am in a dilemma whether I should fill in a new form or not.

Happened with me too. Did two things: 1) Tried again after a week to register but again similar problem happened (it happened almost thrice! every time i try to register this happened) so ultimately i did the second thing: 2) used google chrome and it worked :P

there is no need to fill a new form as u won't be needing the challan, the pp form itself will do !!
u cannot check ur application status too till 25th ( according to a puy ), so hold tight till then !!
there is a procedure to retrieve the challan, i did it myself, u won't be needing it, still ; log in with ur xat id & password, now in history see if u can find a page named " http:// ***.**.**.***/xat2010/onlinepaymentdetails.aspx " and voila !!
still u can cross check with them call them up during working hours !!
and do we need to send pp form and pa form in a single envelope or we need to send them separately......kindly answer my qyery as soon as possible as already 4 days have passed since i made the payment
Hi Puys, In the work ex section they are asking us to provide work ex in years.But they are not mentioning till what date we are supposed to give the work ex...... And are we supposed to leave the end date for the company that I am currently working with................
