You need to fill SSC/HSC under the qualification tag. This is what i have filled 😉

Hi I need an urgent Help . Please let me know how long wil it take for the XTA application to process ? I sent the XAT PP form on Nov 11 from here and it reached XLRI on 13 as per speed post details . But my appliocation status is still under processing Pls tell me how long it wil take to process XAT application . whom shd i contact?? Im bit worried ...

hey fellow puys...some urgent help needed...it says after i get the pa form i must send it in a special envelope enclosed in prospectus but i am applying and paying online...So from where do i get the prospectus???

I think in that case we need to send it in a normal envelope. They have written in the instructions that there is no need to send the form attached in the prospectus if you have paid online. To quote XAT website-

7.Send the DD and PP Form: The candidate has to paste securely his/her recent passport size colour photograph and put his/her signature in the designated space provided on the XAT PP Form. Mention your XAT ID and your name on the reverse of the DD. The candidate has to enclose the demand draft along with the XAT PP Form and send it by courier/ registered post/speed post so as to reach XAT Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days of DD issue date.
8.Mailing Bulletin to Candidate: XAT office, XLRI Jamshedpur will send the XAT Bulletin 2011 after receiving the XAT PP Form & DD for Rs 950/-. Candidates are not required to send the detachable form given inside the bulletin.


For XLRI specific-
6.Send the online payment receipt and Form : The candidate has to enclose the duly completed XLRI PA Form and photo copies of 10th, 12th and graduation certificates (or latest mark sheet of papers/years completed till date) and SC/ST certificate (for SC/ST candidates only) through courier/registered post/speed post in the special envelope given inside the prospectus. XLRI PA Form along with transaction receipt and photo copies of the educational certificate should reach the Admissions Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days from date of online payment made. Candidates are advised to keep a photo copy of all the forms that they send to XLRI for future reference.
7.Mailing of XLRI Prospectus to candidates: XLRI Prospectus will be sent to the candidates after receiving the request complete in all respects. Candidates are not required to send the detachable form given inside the prospectus.

And if you're referring to the 6th point, then i think it's just a typo from XLRI.

Hi Puys,

Its urgent. I filled the XAT form one month back and have sent the copy of same as required by them. But now while registering for XLRI, when I feed my XAT ID and password, it says please complete your XAT registration before applying for XLRI. When I login to XAT login it says registration complete and has been received. I am calling them on the toll free number provided but no one is picking. Please help me out in this.

hey puys...a query regarding the XAt application...I got the PP form via online payment and they say that we must enclose the online payment receipt with it...But i dint get any payment receipt or maybe i missed it...Wat do i do??? nobody's answering the helpline too...

dey will update aftr the process is over i mean aftr the application date is over..so mostly by december 5th.... :cheers:

This question has been asked 20-25 times, literally. Please do search before you start writing posts asking the same question.

You don't have to send the transaction receipt if you don't have it. Send the PA form. It will do.

puys i have a query...
I have registered for xlri and chose axis bank as d mode of payment as i did not hav debit card at dat point of tym..
But nw i hav one
and want to change that to online payment mode but am unable to do so.
Please help.
Can i change the mode of payment to online?

Hi,

I have filled the XAT form but made mistake in providing the date of joining in the form. I gave 05 Sept instead of 10 Sept. I have confirmed the data.
Will this have any impact on the selection process?

I forgot to take the print of the online payment made. Searched this forum to see if i could get any help. But i couldn't

However i figured out a way to get the print. Posting it here for the benefit of others who may b facing the same prob

Go to the following links for the payment details of XAT and xlri resp. It would ask for login. Give the login details (copy paste the url again if it doesnt redirect to the payment status automatically)

(once u realize, it's pretty simple and obvious)

What a unique solution to the problem...i was thinking of sending the PA form alone since like many others i too had forgotten to take the print of payment details that time...i get it by your way...
