1. is ther any new iim cummming up? 2. will ther be same common admin process for 6 iims? 3. shud i apply for c,l.k nxt time coz....this tyr my avg score was taken....n i think if i had given directly pi for new iims...i wud have made it........ help plz...
I dont think u hv the option of not applying to any IIM bro. Once u gv CAT u get automatically considered for all 13 iims.
regarding new IIMs, unconfirmed sources say there are 6 new IIMs in the offing. But vry frankly no one is sure.

3. Dude seriosly?? u wanna give up c,l,k so that u will have better chances for new iims??!!!:nono: i think that instead u should prepare even better so that ur c,l,k interviews also rock and u convert them instead 😃

this yr my c interview was vry gud.......... k int was not gud..... l idint et call so even my best shot got averaged..........n made me in elligible for neww iims..... n mind it or nt....selection process of c l k is tougher than neww iims..... so iam luking to skip c l k nxt time.............
jus think of those from general category... wid weak financial background.. who neither get the seats and admission for the modes of transportation !

I strongly believe "Backwardness should be based on Economic Criteria" The poorest and most backward in each category, whether included in the list or not, have not been able to benefit of reservation. Religion or caste does not make anyone backward. The poorest or poor families should get opportunities for advancement. I belongs to NC OBC catagory. My villages population is arround 3000,but you you count the numberof science graduates .The number will limited to 30-40.The nearest science graduation college is 27 km apart. That also takes 1.5 -2 hour in bus ,because of road conditions. Because of financial problem I dropped one year of study after +2. CBSC/ICSC , private coaching these options are not available . But I strongly belief ,reservation policy is bit fulty.I have few freinds belongs to SC/ST ,whose parents are working in PSU s ,still they are getting benefits of reservation. Not intended to critisize anyone belong to any catagory. Family should be considered as a basic unit ,not caste or religion.

financial condition is too broad a term for deciding something as jittery as the criterion for reservation..
so for caste and religion if you give reservation to one minority then the other minority would stand up ... chalo yaar I mean dont discuss such kind of sensitive issues here ... i am already fed up with the series of rejection ... just want to convert one ... and pray that all those who have done hard work should convert at least one call . Pray for me also 😃
Just called up the Kashipur office regarding results. The guy there says it all depends on IIM L. Theay are gonna tk out the res
The ideal climax of this season of CAT... seriously, all of us are literally hooked onto our screens, refreshing now-n-then to see the last result. Man, i ll miss this madness once the college admissions are over.
