@richash05 transparent waitlist will help aspirants, but then it'll be mostly arrive to a situation that waitlist no of thousand got cleared, since there is already 1200 seats in blacki, and 150 in nitie, hundred in fms and xlri, spjain etc,... for kashipur and udaipur there is chance they've to fill even lower waitlisted students,... new iim's could have asked students who joined old iim's to opt out of their admissions through them,... it would have been much better for people wit onli new iim dunno how people in job get relieved if they clear waitlist few days before coll is about to open,...
Exactly i really dnt understand what is wrong with these b-schools they are like do watever u want to do to join us within 15 days i mean this kind of practice should be demoralized i wonder who is looking at these factors

Hi I think for academic purposes,companies give early release. Few of my friends last year released with in week.
In worst case, you might get released by paying basic salary equivalent to notice peeiod. Please check your employee hand book 'n employee separation guide lines. Every company should have some policies for quick release.check your employee handbook policies Or ask your HR s

That is the case when only 1 person is leaving from a deptt and may not be carrying out very imp activities. But if 3-4 persons are leaving from a company at the same time it is really hard for the company also to give them release in a short period.
Jus think of someone from a reserved category, who doesn't have good financial background, is asked to come wit a demand draft of 2lakh in two days directly to institute:-( horrible people can't even think and plan how to reach this institutes in two or three days, infact for someone like me in south will take three or even four days to reach kashipur, everyone can't have enough money to take flight, really the aviation sector is also pathetic like new iim results, flights will be there for places where no people is waiting for and there will be a bunch of people like us waiting for someth so badly, i meant this results, but they won come easily:-( cat has given us a lot of nightmares, the most horrible is the result of new iim's

Just to continue it.......I have approached HDFC Credila bank for educational loan, they said the rate of interest is 13.25% and for the first 2yrs u need to pay only simple interest......which will come around 2lacs....only for 2yrs and they need surity of 2pple who are working and out of which one should be a govt. employ to get the loan quicker..... Now if u purchase a car...the same HDFC is giving loan at 8.25%....... This is really horrible and so is the reason why i am joining IITK,IME this year as i cannot get 2proofs and not intersted to pay 2lacs as a simple interst....

It depends upon what responsibilites you handle at your work place..... If you handle many issues and many clients and all of a sudden you say i want to leave in a week, company cannot find a suitable person to replace yours....
got straight rejects from Ranchi, Raipur, Trichi and Udaipur........not expecting something new from IIM Kashipur.......i guess its finally time to take up the job being offered by IFFCO (12LPA)
man..go for iffco...u have better opportunity in hands...try one more tym..u shoud aim for IIM ABCL only if u have good profile..
Join that job,... try for CL if you've average academics, join ab if you've great academics,.... you can look for really great profiles wit two years experience in a job,.... don waste your opportunity,... after two years the you'll be able to see this iim's gettin stabilized and doing good, then you can opt if you need an iim badly, really not now

IIM Kashipur site is down since yesterday but they are not yet done with the results.. Any updates of results getting declared ?
I dont understand the delay.. Atleast they should be out with the first list.. Its already getting late and I am sure there will be huge WL movements..
