I think the waitlist is going to move to a large exteent but it is going to take time. A lot of us will cling on to this call as none of the other colleges will come out wid their result bfr 7th march.
However once the IIMs and some top IITs start dishing out their results, one can expect a fair movement of the waitlist.
So my opinion is ppl who are waitlisted, they def have a gud chance since the waitlist was probably declared after giving the entire thing a lot of thought.
Just a personal take.
PS: One of the reasons why not too many call getters have voted on the poll given above is bcs they themselves arent sure

Hi Shourya, I read last year's thread and it seems the waiting list last year was 54 and not 64 as you had mentioned in an earlier post. Can you confirm it?

Ya so its 54 if you confirmed it from last year's thread....
I really dont remember what happened last year.... just picked it up from someone so said the same...
so apart from the no. change... more or less everything else remains same...
1st waitlist 54 + 30 odd more calls (total was around 80 odd)

Now what do I make of it, should I be sad or hopeful, is there any chance of converting at 18 WL for SC Category student since the total no of seats reserved itself is around 27.
Plus, in case i get a convert, I need to know about loan facilty available, do we have to avail it at the college or anywhere we wish for because colleges generally have some tie-ups with banks providing concessions and easy processing.
And Congos to All who have CONVERTED.
