There is an Undertaking provided to the selected candidates. It contains one of the points as:
As I am working in Company / PSU/ Government organization I will complete necessary formalities regarding resignation before I join the programme and I will bring NOC in case of Government organization or PSUs and in case of private organizations resignation acceptance letter from previous employer. Students working in Government organizations/ PSUs will be allowed to pay fees provided they submit a copy of application submitted to the HR Department of respective organizations for relieve from services. They will be allowed to join course by submitting NOC from their Head Office.
I am working with a PSU. I have the following queries:
1. Is it necessary to resign ? What if I get educational leave for two years?
2. Regarding submitting of the copy of the application to HR dept. before fee payment, do we have to send the copy by mail or post and to whom?
PS: I mailed the ART yesterday but reply is still awaited. Could someone please PM me a contact number for further queries??

The copy submitted to the HR needs to reach the SIBM office before the last date of payment of fees.You may choose any means as long aas it reaches before time.

Would my being on educational leave be a hurdle to the internship or placement process? Or are the companies participating indifferent to such issues?

I d suggest you start working on the loan process.My guess is the hard copy of joining letter would be required only in the final stages.Till then u can probably use the printout of the result.
In any case the letters would be dispatched very soon and u can expect them by the end of the month.

If you take a internship or final placement through the Summer internship recruitment program or campus recruitment program, both conducted by the Placement Advisory Team ,SIBM Pune, you will have to accept that offer.
So when you attend a recruitment process, its understood that you will take the offer.Hence your educational leave should'nt be an issue

All the documents will be required at the time of ur joining of the course.
For now only fee submission.
Ensure that you take a confirmation of the fee payment as well.You wil get the actual receipt from the accounts department when you join the course , but for now you will get a confirmation on email if u ask for one.That is also ur confirmation of admission.

No you do not need to submit your resignation letter now..
JUST MAKE SURE.... you resign before you join college on 5th june... so effectively that work ex certificate should be with you by then...
YES, The Aspirant Relations Team will form various groups on diff social networking sites for your benefit where you can interact with your batchmates and your seniors from MBA II..... so just hold on... they will intimate you about such details on a later date...

I can get it from Shourya's post that sbi has something called scholar's loan for sibm. Is this the best one available in the market or is there a better product out there??
