Transfer Certificate is issued by your University wherein they declare you as a past student and have no objection in you pursuing any kind of higher studies...
Leaving Certificate is issued by your college saying that you have completed your degree and are qualified to move on to future endeavours...

There are 2 kinds of certificates.... Transfer (From college) and Migration (From UNIVERSITY)...... dont know what a leaving certificate is...

I understand that its difficult to arrange the fee in so less time but even the college authorities can't help as they have to clear of subsequent waitlists in due time.

Confirmation mails are sent within 2 days of receipt of your payment.
If you don't receive it in 2 days then call : 02039116040 (SIBM accounts dept) and confirm

Hi All,
With no intention to malign the college in any way, I'd like to share what happened today.
I got a call from an MBA Consultancy in Delhi Rohini Area. The lady on the call wished if I had interest in pursuing MBA from reputed colleges through MANAGEMENT QUOTA. When I inquired about the colleges they had tie ups with, I heard SIBM PUNE somewhere in between.
I asked for details on SIBM PUNE for which she said it was very costly. When I told her that money was not a constraint, she told that Management Quota seat is worth 7 lac per annum ( only college fees ). Over an above their company takes 15 lacs for a confirmed admission failing to which they would return the whole amount.
To show her professionalism she asked my score and seemed impressed by my 100 score in SNAP and said that I have a good chance since they had many candidates from whom they'd choose those with highest marks.
I hung up and requested her to call me up again in few days so that I can discuss it with my parents.
With no aspirations to get through this route I'd like to bring attention of seniors, students and admissions dept. probably to look into it if they don't already know it.
I had tremendous respect for the college even after I failed to convert last year with 137 score and 93% ,85% and 80% in school and college. I had amazing group discussions and interviews this year around too. But couldn't convert with a score of 100.
I'm sure lots of guys would have made it with their hard work this year but if even 1 guy gets in through such route, it brings shame to the stature of the college.
ATB to all and SIBM is an amazing college and I really loved the campus and SIMC Crowd :P

Also if seniors could elaborate on total number of seats against International Quota and how are these students selected and what does international here mean exactly...
Seniors...I have been waitlisted 20...and it would be gr8 if the next list of conversion comes out soon...unlike last year the date for next list is 20th march, but given the case that the last date of fee payment is 7th march, and no other college results would come out between 7th and 20 th march , why is the delay of 13 days in giving out the next list...

YES this is a very common occurrence every year...
go through all PG threads over the last 4 years and such posts have been made by students each year (myself have done so)
DO NOT WORRY about these too much..... DOESN'T have any credibility...

This decision has been taken by the admin (I believe they have done so consciously)....
REASONS might be unknown to us general public but am sure its for their own functional purpose so they can process each remaining seat and candidature effectively...
Please do not worry about these slight procedural changes...
With your wl no.... you will be converting soon enough....
