First of all... The Aspirant Relations Team (admission team as you call it) has NO ROLE to play in calling candidates... it is done by the admin of SIBM Pune...
Secondly... If the initial waitlist gets exhausted and there are still empty seats remaining... then the admin WILL CALL ONTO candidates who have got rejection letters initially...

@Shourya we kno the WL went till 84 last year bt till where did it go last to last year ie the yr u joined??

During our time... the 1st waitlist was exhausted completely and then students were called according to composite scores....
If I had to guess that number then I would put it at around 80-85...
Disclaimer : Till last year... the 1st waitlist usually consisted of 50-55 ppl... and then students were called personally based on scores...
This time around they have declared a waitlist of 100+.... so lets see how it unfolds this time around...

Ha ha... I understand your enthusiasm now that you are joining SIBM Pune...
Currently we are concentrating on this thread as thousands of aspirants are waiting on us to answer their queries.. so this is PRIORITY NO. 1..
If you want to know about life... just ask us 😃 ... we are more than happy to indulge you.. this is ONE of the reasons for this particular thread among others..

The number is not 80-85.
I read the entire last to last year thread and the person who was at wl 94(he inquired about his position) converted the call. After him around 10-15 more converted(rough estimate).
Therefore, I can say that last 2 last yr, it was at least 100. Same should have been the case last yr but there is no mention about wl no in the last yrs thread.
My estimate is that waitlist this yr can go to 110-115. But, this is my estimate and it can be wrong as well.
But, there is definitely hope for waitlisted guys. People in the rejected list can hope as well but their chances are negligible.
PS- my wl no- 102(Hoping for a convert).
PPS- Leaving this thread till May 15 as I am sure I will be depressed looking at waitlist movement. Unsubscribe!!

I have another question too. I am looking at the SBI Scholar loan to fund the fees. My question is if suppose I pay the first installment of the fees on my own and then apply for the loan, will the loan sanctioned also cover the money I have already paid?
Also, will we receive an email from SIBM or the information that is provided on the website is final? Banks ask for an admission offer. Should we consider that Congratulations page itself as the admission letter?

hey man i am in the same boat as you are. it seems we have to send a copy of the letter that we will write to our HR for getting the NOC. The final NOC letter from HR is to be produced at the time of joining i.e. 5th june.
But i have no clue as to what address or email do we have to send the copy of the letter to. I have mailed ART regarding the same and awaiting their reply.
PS: Are u planning to resign or taking an educational leave?

Hi ,
Look get the stats right. There are no confirmation lists coming out till 7th march. So expect many people to confirm their admission in SIBM. The only wait list movement will be of people who dont pay up or who dont want to join. So the movement after the 7 th will be a bit slow initially. But you can expect a faster movement as soon as the IIM's the IIT's and the NITIE's start giving their calls. Its expected that many people will withdraw after that.. and considering this scenario you have a very good chance, but it will take time.

You mail the college admin regarding your request. They will send you the entire fee structure for the MBA course.
