I converted SIBM P and i am willing to join. I have applied for loan here at Hyderabad but the loan is not sanctioned yet. Can someone please help me find a faster way to get the loan?
Is it fine if i pay the non refundable amount i.en, Rs.31,000 now and later the remaining amount of 1st installment?

well i got it from Punjab National Bank.. got sanctioned in one day.. you might want to try it out.. Just keep all the papers ready..

I applied at SBI. heard that sbi has tie up with aibm n i thought that i would get it fast. By the which branxh did u apply? N wat r the docs required? What is the interest rate?

You could try SBI's Scholar Loans. SIBM Pune is one of the listed colleges for the scheme, you could get it faster.

AFAIK, that is not allowed. You'll have to pay the first installment in one go. In case you withdraw your admission at a later stage, Rs 31000 will be deducted and rest of the amount will be credited back to you.

ONLY IF the 1st waitlist is COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED... then the students next on the list of composite scores will be called individually (no more list will be published)

How many people do we know who were offered SIBM for 2012 intake and have not taken it up ? ?

Not sure BRO..the letter says that the list will move on 20th Mar'12..

I think you didn't interpret the courier properly.
I received the courier as well.
It says that waitlist conversion will be displayed on 20th March.
If you are selected in that waitlist, you have to pay up by 30th March.
The thing to focus on is ' If you convert on 20th March'.

Regarding placement report,
It shows there were 157 offers & 1.1 offer per student, then number of students will become = 142approx
Does that mean 38 students opted out?This is highly unlikely.
Also let us say that SiBM took only 171 studens that year, then still 29 students won't opt out for placements.Also why would college lose out 99lakhs by not filling its complete intake?
Also 171-142=29 people opted out or found placements offline. How this is possible?
Regarding avg package, what is the procedure?
Do they take avg of accepted offers or all the offers.
I heard that they consider all the offers made by the companies but divide by number of students only. So numerator increases but denominator remains the same & hence the avg mark goes up.

I don't mean any offense against the institute but I am confused about the information that they have provided & want to know how they reach to the final figures. Thanks!
