u have to just send the money, then send them a mail with all the details as per the format. once u get their confirmation mail, u will be a SIBM guy/gal:)

na no docs need to be sent, i confirmed it.
Just keep the receipt of the payment safely(the one u get frm the bank)

I had called up the university bro, they said we need to get the TC first frm the clg and den apply fr migration and if i have all the docs then it will take a week to 10 days. For TC ma clg said it will take a week.

But ubfortunately u rly cnt believe these guys, so wanted a realistic picture

well for the TC, ma clg asked me to have a no dues clearance(which may differ frm clg to clg)
and bring ma 8th sem certi and also get a admission letter confirming ma admission for higher studies.

Fr migration, theres a form available online or u can go to kalina and get the form, fill up the form, pay 220 bucks as fee, gv them the TC, give dem 8th sem certi xerox and also ur admission letter.

but prob is in the migration certi form, u need to knw which univ u are shifting to. If u are unsure of the clg u want to shift to, then u wont be able to fill up the form since theres an option where u need to write the university where u are shifting to.

Hi Seniors,

Feeling a little anxious after seeing the WL movement, was at #18 initially but the list moved by only 1 for SC Category, so now at #17, Is there any chance I would be able to convert the call because seeing this, my hopes have dashed.
Please share past year's experiences, tried searching for info in past year's thread but didn't find anything related to SC Category WL movement.

Also, I came across a scholarship scheme by GOI regarding Top Class Eductaion Scholarship Scheme for SC Category students mentioning SIBM Pune as one of the recognised institutes eligible for the scheme, but wasn't able to find any specific reference for the same on the website of SIBM, but there was the scheme for ST students also run by GOI, Is the scheme still valid or the site hasn't been updated with the details.

There were a lot of candidates who faced problems with the payment of fees within the stipulated time-frame in last year's thread but SIBM didn't provide any extension or loan facility to them because SIBM didn't have any tie-ups with banks for easy and fast approval of loan unlike other top b-schools, so what should be my approach since banks are reluctant to process the loan fast and won't do it in 7 days deadline at any cost and won't process the application either till I get a Final Covert.

PS: SIBM is my dream college and I don't want money to be a spoil-sport and ruin my chances and my career.

You could try SBI's scholar loan scheme. I gather the processing time is much faster with lesser hold-ups. SIBM Pune is one of the many institutes under Scholar Loan institutions.

imt ghaziabad, nm and sp jain dont hav reservation bro. So u will prob have to wait a little longer, altho wid nitie res in march end u may have a chance of converting early.

writing down my sibm pune pi experience.there were 2 ppl on panel i will address them by p1 (in age of 50-55).p2(in age of 40-45).both were wearing suits.as i entered pi room p1 rajiv come in u seem an intresting person looking at ur annexure.on hearing this i was slightly relieved.i wished them and thanked them for their kind compliment&now; question answer round starts

me:could answer only 2-3 points.not upto mark.i told them i did engineering by default and my passion was advertising.

me:vodofone wanted to target middle class.irfan khan looks like a commom man and he talks directly to aam aadmi of this country and by taking him sales of company has increased a lot

ohhk..bro thanks a lot..but one thing is there that those epeople who are trying more for imt ghaziabad,narsee monjee and sp jain they will not see the reservation quota and will apply in normal only..for example-a person who applied in sc category in sibm,if he or she has converted in imt ghaziabad or in narsee monjee or in sp jain,he or she will definelty(90%chance)will withdraw admission from sibm as narsee monjee,imt ghazibad and sp jain rankings are much better than sibm...so for this reason i think there will be slight change..what u say bro?

Comparison isn't allowed on PG, so let me put this up diplomatically: Except SP Jain, many people would prefer SIBM over the institutes you have mentioned. NM & SIBM -> preference might be 50-50, depending on what exactly a student would aspire to leverage from the institutions. But the number of students choosing IMT-Ghaziabad over SIBM are going to be very, very less due to the super big batch size of 600 at IMT-G. In fact, none have mentioned about IMT-G as one of their options in the OnBoard forum for selected students. I myself, skipped IMT-G interviews once I made it to SIBM.

I doubt that happening. Across most of the respectable ranking sources (e.g. TIME or Pagalguy itself), neither NMIMS, nor IMT-G have a better standing than SIBM. Either they stand equal or SIBM stands higher... SPJ is definitely ranked higher, though.

Hi,

I have added "SS SIU SIBM RECEIPT ACCOUNT" to my HDFC third party transfer thro RTGS list. can I do a net banking payment or should I do the transfer via the Bank?
and what about the "Undertaking of Admission form", Should I send it thro a courier service?

Please advise. Or kindly, give me a number whom I can talk to.
