Hi Seniors,
I had sent the mail confirming my admission fee payment along with the RTGS details to [email protected] on Thursday 22nd March.
It has been 4 days and i am yet to receive the confirmation from SIBM.
Has anyone faced this experience before?
Also, can someone please give me the phone number of the admissions office so that i can call them up and ask about my status

You need not pay the money as long as you are in a waitlist.
If you had converted in SIBM and wanted to stay on both the merit lists, then yes, you would have to pay the SIBM fees also, not otherwise.
P.S.: I am not a senior, but the above seemed logically obvious to me.

Hi,
I have added "SS SIU SIBM RECEIPT ACCOUNT" to my HDFC third party transfer thro RTGS list. can I do a net banking payment or should I do the transfer via the Bank?
and what about the "Undertaking of Admission form", Should I send it thro a courier service?
Please advise. Or kindly, give me a number whom I can talk to.

This post is for Shourya Sen, Satana and loads of other seniors like him who have helped us a lot right from the time of our exams to the admission process and still continue doing so... taking out time from a hectic schedule to help out aspirants whom u may never even meet shows a lot of character...
Now that they have completed their MBA and move on to the next phase of their lives I wish them luck and success and hope that they continue to help their sub juniors(if there is a world like that:))

To all the puys who have taken a loan I wanted to ask is it necessary to get the loan sanctioned from Pune itself. I ask this because I went to my local SBI branch yesterday (for the Scholar's Loan) and they told me that I have to get the loan sanctioned from Pune.
Is there any bank you guys know of which might sanction a loan from my home city only (Gurgaon)?

M also from gurgaon. Can you tell me at what percent they are giving the loan and which branch did you visit?
Yaar I went to the sbi on M.G. road opposite Kalyani Hospital in old Gurgaon. They are giving a loan at 12%. But having said that they have asked me to get the loan sanctioned from Pune.

SBI is offering the cheapest education loan. I am sure of this. I have been to about a dozen banks.

The SBI's Scholar's Loan can only be availed from the specified Pune Hinjewadi branch that too after the commencement of the course (confirmed this telephonically).
you can either go for Normal educational loan from SBI (interest rate higher than scholar's loan) or from any other bank as normal edu loan can be sanctioned by any branch. Hope this helps.

But for normal loan, Providing collateral is mandatory, so how can one avail Scholar loan anyway if they don't approve it to pay the fees beforehand to get your seats confirmed and would do so after the classes start, then those who can't arrange the money beforehand like me to pay 3.75 Lacs have no chance of confirming our admission.
well for the TC, ma clg asked me to have a no dues clearance(which may differ frm clg to clg)
and bring ma 8th sem certi and also get a admission letter confirming ma admission for higher studies.
Fr migration, theres a form available online or u can go to kalina and get the form, fill up the form, pay 220 bucks as fee, gv them the TC, give dem 8th sem certi xerox and also ur admission letter.
but prob is in the migration certi form, u need to knw which univ u are shifting to. If u are unsure of the clg u want to shift to, then u wont be able to fill up the form since theres an option where u need to write the university where u are shifting to.
Hi, I'd like to add something from my experience...
My college asked me to download the MIGRATION CERTIFICATE form from http://www.mu.ac.in/Downloads.html
I had to attach copies of: Birth proof(Birth certi/passport),12th std marksheet and 1st,2nd sem,7th and 8th sem marksheets, Admission letter from SIU along with the form.
Within a couple of days, I got the Migration certi form signed and stamped from my principal along with 2 copies of the Transfer certificate.
Further, I went to the university and had to submit the signed Migration certi form,one copy of the Transfer certi form + copies of the 12th std marksheet and marksheets of all semesters + Rs.220.
I applied last monday and have been asked to collect the Migration Certificate from the University on wednesday...
NITIE results r out... any1 with SIBM convert also converted NITIE pls post... will give us waitlisted candidates some idea abt movement...

Ps: wateva happens, SIBM will always be love at first sight:) Loved the lavale hills, had a great tym wid seniors and it was ma first big convert of ma lyf....
