SIBM has floated a self assessment form. Plus, they are asking for 'verifiable references'. Can you please comment on what kind of references would do.. As in Colleagues/seniors at workplace or previous professors?
And can family members(aunts and uncles,not mom and dad
) be quoted for references?
This may sound a bit wierd question, but I thought "koi sawaal chota nai hota" and its better to be clear on this.:grin:

It is ADVISABLE that you DO NOT give reference of a relative...
try giving references of people who are well qualified and can vouch for your character...

Yes guys, the third list will be out today. If it follows the second list timings, we should be able to access it around 4:30 PM. But it's advisable to keep checking the website, just in case.
I don't think the list would have moved a lot, though. Only one additional institute (NITIE) which could cause significant movement has declared results since the second list was announced. The general opinion of seniors and others, is that we have to wait for the IIM results to come out before we can expect heavy movements.

Just logged on to the website... The new list numbers have been put up, but the rest of the information remains the same as before...
I was W/L 29, it has changed to W/L 13, meaning that the wait list has moved by 16, but there is no new information about the next list at all. The letter still says the conversion will be put up on the 2nd of April and that the 9th of April is the final date for fee payment! Is this a glitch we can expect to be resolved soon?

Well, I don't think so. I guess only the date will be changed. But, I can't digest a low movement like 16. I was expecting somewhere around 30. Movement is gonna be pretty slow after this.

I doubt that, mate. As I already pointed out in an earlier post, we needn't have expected too large a movement. Only one significant result has come out since the 2nd list (NITIE). MDI, XLRI, all the IIMs (including, in some cases, the new IIMs) are all yet to come out with their merit lists. So hold on tight.

Well, that's true, but those results came out at least three days prior to the 2nd list. All, I am saying is, that there are many colleges left, and if past movements are anything to go by, there is bound to be some significant movement in the wait-list. That was the initial opinion of all the people I consulted after the first and second lists came out.

No, the page is blocked right now. Can't be sure if it is blocked only because of the error in dates, or if the wait-list numbers also had an error. Before it got blocked, the movement was 16.
