An easy way to track waitlist. I have made an excel file which will help us to track waitlist.

Please, only genuine people should edit. If two people have the same wl no- then the other person can use the next number.
Eg- If two people have 82. Then one can use the number 82 and the next one can use 83..... and so on.
Please sab log apnee details daaldo and please apne friends kee bhi details add kardo....
There is already a poll for that, the only difference being that the current status and converts are not added.
While these exercises might give us a rough idea, I doubt their reliability in general. The first wailtlist movement doesn't reflect the poll.
People who have already converted in more than one institutes, including SIBM might find it pointless to log on to this thread and vote on the poll, just for our sake. People might lie on the polls, or make last minute decision changes. There are a lot of variables, including category-wise lists and even after taking all of that into consideration, we might just have a very rough idea.
The way I see it, an overly optimistic response will trash our hopes in the end and an overly pessimistic one will make us worry our hair off for nothing... This a waiting game, and all it requires is patience till the next movement comes about. I think it's best we keep it at that. The more information you dig up, the less reliable it seems to get.

I have PMed u the contact details. The Scholar's loan can only be issued by the Hinjewadi branch. But there is a catch.
You'll get the loan only after joining the institute in June. this means that you have to pay the First installment all by yourself which can later be refunded. This was the reply I got when I contacted the bank authorities. You can also talk to them in this regard.

Oh, I am really sorry, dude. I didn't know that the course at Great Lakes starts so early. Yours is a really tricky situation. I guess we could put up a list as you suggested. But (and there is ALWAYS a 'but') I really don't think the list would be reliable or complete enough to make that important a decision ( if you are considering Great Lakes as a very serious option).
A better option to get an idea of the waitlist movement wud b if all SIBM converts/waitlists provide the following info:

Have PMed u the contact. I also felt the same way but the person on the phone replied that there have been instances in the past where after taking the loan, some students cancel admission due to better converts and they have refund problems.:shock:

U will get the pre induction stuff irrespective of ur withdrawal of admission since u are paying 30k for it(the amnt that will be deducted frm the money u deposited). Only thing is ppl who have withdrawn admission will not be eligible to give tests related to the pre induction stuff(seniors plz confirm this tho)
Refund will take time, 30-45 days.

There will be weekly tests and assignments for holistic development of the aspirants before they join the course....
People who have withdrawn might not be eligible to appear for the same...

Hi, from what I've seen in the pre-induction material briefing, those who join late will get the pre-induction tests at a later stage. The tests are mandatory for anyone who will be joining SIBM-P, and they have a certain weightage in form of credits.

Yes you will have access to all the online material....
Plus the weekly quizzes, assignments etc will anyways be up...
So do not worry about the pre-induction much...
The real games will begin on 6th June, 2012

u will get the entire pre induction stuff, only thing is u wont have access to the tests.
