There is NO movement!!!!!
The dates have changed to 22nd and 30th April. But the open category wait-list has not moved by even one number!!

How u know that results are out

They have probably decided to wait till the 22nd of April in view of the IIMs declaring their result. That will give the converts more time to withdraw admissions, I suppose. It is impossible to have 0 movement. 0 movement means all the seats in the institute have been paid for, which would mean we should be getting a rejection letter, not another date. And so many people have posted on this thread, saying that they withdrew admission!

I checked the website. Double checked. New dates have been given, but there is no movement.

22nd April is the next date. Converts on 22nd April have to pay the fee by the 30th.

Okay in the result page of Waitlisted guys....
Fine I am rejected that is the reason I could not see.

What is happening....I cant understand. It is impossible that even single person has not withdrawn and all 16 who has been offered on 2 April has taken admission.
Seems that it is really end of journey.

This is ridiculous... it is impossible that not one person has withdrawn admission in the past 10 days... i'm hoping this is some error and will be rectified soon...

Dont be disheartnd guys.I guess dere will be huge movement somewhere either in lst week of april or first week of may....Stay optimistic u all still hv a very good chnc to convert..:)...

Is the site showing 0 WL movement only for Gen category or for all categories...??? Coz if it is showing 0 for all then surely there is some error...

It is not an error. They seem to have postponed the wait-list movement in view of the IIMs announcing their results. Mostly. I mainly think so, because 0 wait-list movement means that every seat has been paid for. If there are no empty seats, there shouldn't be any new date for further movement. We should all have gotten a rejection letter. Which we haven't.

Wrong logic bro...Suppose let us assume all the seats have been filled. There is a chance that people may withdraw their admission in the next 10 days if they get a convert from the IIMs.Hence, there is a chance for waitlist movement.

shocked out of my wits..........was hoping of a convert today.................any seniors out there to comment on the situation??????

Dude, here is how I see it - An institute maintains its wait-list when it has empty seats. When all the seats have been paid for, they need not maintain one. If people withdraw admission in the next 10 days, our rejection should again convert, just as the people who have been rejected currently are expecting to happen... Plus, I have actually seen comments on this thread itself, in which the people say they have revoked admission YESTERDAY. If the movement hadn't been postponed, this person's cancellation should have caused a movement of 1...
That's what makes me think that the actual movement hasn't been updated just yet... They must have postponed it because they anticipate large changes in the near future.

there is another side to it.
I had withdrawn ma admission yest via mail and askd fr an acknldmnt. Tdy i gt a mail askin me to send a handwritten signed withdrawal application to pune. Now wat i understand is that unless the written app reaches them, my withdrawal wont be processed thus havin no effect on waitlist.
PPl here r takin of the IIM res which happened yest, but I think its gonna tk time to reflect...

PS: purely my take, no confirmations on nething

based on the above post by sid1989 its clear that the IIM C,B converts hand written applications would not have reached them in time for a movmt today. give it another week or so and then there could well be significant movmt if several other iims also divulge their results in the mean time

This is one part .Other part is did all the people (16)who have been offered admission on 2 April have taken admissions. This seems impractical.
