it is entirely possible that they have all taken admission. even so, if people have withdrawn yesterday, it will still create empty seats but I guess these requests will reach them in due time which will reflect on 22nd

I had converted in the last list. However i did not pay the fees. Thus, waitlist should have moved by atleast 1.

there is another side to it.
I had withdrawn ma admission yest via mail and askd fr an acknldmnt. Tdy i gt a mail askin me to send a handwritten signed withdrawal application to pune. Now wat i understand is that unless the written app reaches them, my withdrawal wont be processed thus havin no effect on waitlist.
PPl here r takin of the IIM res which happened yest, but I think its gonna tk time to reflect...


PS: purely my take, no confirmations on nething

based on the above post by sid1989 its clear that the IIM C,B converts hand written applications would not have reached them in time for a movmt today. give it another week or so and then there could well be significant movmt if several other iims also divulge their results in the mean time

Exactly guys! My point was that there must be some wait-list movement, it can't be 0. And in my opinion they have decided to postpone showing that wait-list movement. Given that many people would have sent them e-mails asking to withdraw admissions, but the full process could not be confirmed.

Don't know about the movement in WL for General Cat students but for SC Cat, there was a movement of 3, mine is 12 now from 15, and it says that the next list is due on 22nd April, so I guess what's being displayed is not incorrect.

Anyways ATB for future movement

Till now IIM B & C have come out with their results and I think IIM A-ABM too has come out but not IIM A's PGDM

if that's true then no movement in the GEN waitlist makes no sense...........since one guy has already posted that he didn't pay the fees after converting in the previous list........hard to comprehend

this is becoming scarier! 2 months of wait and now movement to a grinding halt....just too much to bear.

I am 13 now. Started off with 62. I feel sad for this guy, "rashabs". He mentioned that he was wait-list 1. He must be really irritated right now!

Nah I'm not. I will convert in the next list or so.

All waitlisted candidates PLEASE keep this in mind...

B and C came out with their results only yesterday...
other IIMs still to follow...

Once all of them declare their results... give it a week after that for the concerned candidates to cancel their admission to SIBM Pune..

Then you will see landslide movement...
Going by previous years' trends... It hasn't started as yet...
You will know when it happens...
