1. how much time does it take for mny transfer to complete thru the RTGS? 2. we hv to do the rtgs n mail the details? nthing to courier? what 2 do with acceptance letter? 3. is it safe to do the rtgs on the last date(31st may)? 4. i'll b able to join sibm only on 18th june. last date in offc is 15th june. is it a thing to worry? do i hv to obtain permission frm sm1 for the same? 5. hw much refund will i get if i cancel my seat on or after 5th june but b4 4th july? how will i get to kn that seat vacated by me has been filled or not? hw much transparency is there regarding this? this is imp for me to kn as m in wl for IIMI and their next list will come on 5th june only. 6. contact num of SIBM? I TRIED all the numbers given on site but all were said to be temporarily out of service.

I am Shaswata. Yesterday I received a letter from SIBM-Pune stating that I have converted the call. It is written in the mail to deposit the fees by 31st May. However, one of my friends who has also converted SIBM has received a mail some days back stating that due to unavailability of rooms in the hostel, the institute would not be able to provide accommodation in the campus and we have to arrange for our own accommodation. Do you guys have any info on the matter? Looking forward to hearing back from you soon as depending on this factor, I will decide whether to join SIBM-Pune or not.

1) I did RTGS through bank...@3:30 PM on the last day of payment...wrote them confirmation mail at 5:30 PM on same day... called them at 02039116042 on the next day and they confirmed immediately 2) Just mail them d details and call them on the above num.. nothing else.. 3) I myself did on the last day wen banks were almost about to close.. but if u are sure better to do it before..y take a risk.. 4), 5) Even I am waiting for this ans.. Seniors plz help 6) mentioned before..

Transfers via RTGS are fastest, happen within minutes, or maximum hours. If it's intra-bank transfer, immediate.

Yes, just mail the necessary bank details and SNAP ID. Nothing else needs to be done.

Don't push it until last day. Though technically, possible, yes. Safe? No.

You will have to send a mail to the registrar stating the reasons. It is not much of a problem. Many people have done that either because of exams or other unavoidable reasons.

If you've paid the annual fee, 1/12 will be deducted and rest will be refunded. If you've paid only for first term, 1/6 will be deducted and rest refunded. There has been a level of transparency till now, if your seat gets filled by someone else, definitely you should get the refund.

The numbers given in the site work. Try calling again, or during office hours.

I am not quite sure. The pre-induction fee is non-refundable. It isn't part of the fees from which the above deductions are being discussed.

incase of the late convert ppl.....incase ur hardcopy states that u r not going to get the hostel facility then it is a real concern nd in that case u will have to wait for what the clg authorities are going to do about it nd you might need to poke them about it regularly......BUT incase ur hardcopy doesn't say anything about not getting the hostel then i suggest u just call them and say what is not written in ur hard copy to confirm that ur actually gonna get the hostel accomodation....

If no, and we have to snail mail it, what is the address in that case?
Again,I am also required to send the original challan copy of the fees paid, along with an application signed by me. What is the postal address where these documents are to be sent?
It would really mean a lot if you seniors/puys could answer these questions for me and also would be helpful for those waiting in queue to get into this prestigious institute.

one thing is for sure that the written communication mode is the snail mail....u done one thing just call them up tomorrow morning and just ask them about the address to which the snail mail is to be sent.....cheers

That will only happen after you join the college. Your roommate and your friends on campus will be able to bring you up to speed regarding induction.
