Is it possible for you to shell out the no. of offers and waitlists given by ISB in R1??
I'm afraid not.
@ISB.Admissions Hello Sir I intend to apply in 2013 for the 2014 session.I came to know from the ISB website that there are 2 nos. full tuition scholarship (Societe Genarale) available. The criteria is need based and that only those candidates with family income of less than INR 5 lacs will be considered.
I want to know whether this scholarship is awarded every year. Will my income (before joining ISB) be also considered in this scolarship? My current annual income is around 7 lacs p.a. but if I leave my job to join ISB , my family income will be less than INR 2lacs p.a as my father is very aged (70+) and our only income source is from some rents. So, given the financial information, will I be eligible for this scholarship?

Impossible to talk about chances without admissions reviewing your completed application. We do not have any cutoff for GMAT and scores range between 600 & 790 for selected students. The rest of your application is quite important as it enables you to demonstrate that you are self-aware, understand why your clients appreciate your contribution, motivated in both professional and personal life, and possess leadership attributes.

Please call us our PGP admissions office (040) 2318 7474 / 84 /94 to discuss your situation. Offline evaluations are a possibility. 660 is a good GMAT score. You should also focus on the rest of your application and essays in particular. Our admissions counsellors will be able to guide you on this as well.
@ISB.Admissions What is the weightage of the interview in the overall selection procedure??

Dear Team,

For being eligible under need based scholarship, please advise whether applicant's salary is also taken into account. The form is asking for proof of income of applicant, parents and spouse.

In my case, my dad's pension is just under 3 lacs which would be my family income without my salary (will no longer be earning when I take admission). Including my salary, I'd be well above 3 lacs per annum. Please advise if I am eligible for need based scholarship.

Thanks & Regards,

Our application evaluation is a holistic process. Good performance at the interview is important but there is no specific weightage to any aspect of the application.

Family income, including that of applicant, needs to be less than Rs. 10L per annum for eligibility to need based scholarship. Applicant's income prior to ISB is included as their income in making the above assessment.

Sir,
Currently our family income (including mine) is over 10 lacs per annum. But my father is getting retired by February 2013. And if I get admission in ISB our family income after february 2013 will be way lesser than 10 lacs. Please edify me to approach the need based scholarship in my case?

Thank you very much for the quick response.
I understand that there is no specific application for merit based scholarship and every applicant is considered. Request you to please elaborate on the criteria of deciding upon the merit based scholarship, no. of rewardees and the amount rewarded.
Many thanks!

You can review the criteria here: http://www.isb.edu/pgp/Scholarships.Shtml
About 15% of the incoming class receives some form of financial aid but then a single candidate can only have one. Don't get too caught up in statistical analysis 😃 You need one seat and one scholarship ... focusing on your application is what matters.
