Hello Guys.

Department has got results with it now. We are in process of scrutinizing and shortlisting the candidates. The scores of people who have applied are good.

Please expect the shortlisting to be done in mid-Feb.

You're part of the job is done. As and when we get updates, we will post it here.

We have our Department fest - Interface 2013 to be conducted from 1-3rd Feb. So we would be occupied a bit. Will try to reply here.

PS : Practice School(PS) concept was enquired about. A note on the companies where our seniors are doing there PS2 now-

Credit Suisse, Goldman Sach, MSCI( Morgan Stanley), JP Morgan, TAS (Tata Administrative Services), Consilium, India Cements, Consilium, Ernst and Young, InMobi and many more which I am not able to recollect as of now.

Number of seats is flexible as BITS is a deemed to be university.

Moreover, number of seats can be even curtailed if the candidates do not match their expectations. So ball is in their court.

Please try to reach the Admissions office. You would need the Application number mainly for all the purposes, in case you're shortlisted.

Sayi- Please understand that am a co-ordinator and I have no idea about what cut-off would be decided. That's an internal thing with admissions department. Since this is the first time we're going for CAT, I can't even extrapolate. Please wait for the results.

and please throw some light on the placements in bits -mba...about average package,highest package,n the companies...atleast a few of them,to get an idea....thnx in advance...
