IIML interview on 19th and IIMC on 25th in kolkata ........... and its peak holi season ........ checked flights and trains last night ....... in a few days even flights wont be available ........ i cant spend 20000 on air fare ........ sad
@chaudhary_aks For Delhi, you will surely get train tickets in tatlak. So, don't worry for that buddy!

Hi same case with mine dude. 19,20,21 IIM PIs in kol. 25 IIMC. Donno how can I manage to go from kol to delhi within this period with such high prices.
@perthchat Ask FMS to have a date change of 23rd March if it isn't the same already because given your schedule, this date is most suited for you. Boss, that week is going to be exceptionally demanding for you. All the best for your bunch of interviews.

But will the entertain such changes ??? Then I can go ahead to book my tickets.
@perthchat They will surely do it. I had asked Mayur Dhingra about the same (Actually, I have my IIM L interview on 18th). He told they entertain changes and he too hadgot it changed last year. so, get away with your worries dude. For ticket, I cannot suggest because if they offer you dates of 22/24th, you wont have sufficient explanation of requesting for a date change because these dates are not impossible for you. Flight journey will do it all for you.
Have the interview dates been declared ?

IRCTC khulne ka naam nhi leta kabhi ( atleast mere se), station se ticket lena ho to raat 3-4 baje jao line lagane and apna koi jaan pehchaaan wala Railway HQ memin nhi h jo jugaad laga ke ticket confirm kar de !!
IMHO, interview dates should come atleast a month before if they dont have alternate places for interview !!

within 5 min the tatkal w/l shoots to 150 for kol delhi route ...... and again its holi time ....... all rajdhanis and duronto have 150+ w/l already ........ and even they can't help me reach on time definitively ........ many spice and indigo flights are already booked and some are displaying 3 left ........ other airlines are too expensive

Let them announce first.
You never know if they announce 8-10 days before. What will you call that then!!!!

Firstly, I haven't said anything to them until now. Please dont assume that it I will do something in future that i havent done in past on the assumption that i have already done so in the past, which is entirely wrong :P
Secondly, I am not urging them to announce dates now coz i know its futile :D
What i did was merely express a thought of mine.....and i believe most of the people will agree that dates ' should ' be announced before a considerable amount of time so that people can plan accordingly. Money is a factor -- yes, and for working people, its entirely ball game !
@All Bhai log jaake padhai karlo intrview kaafi pas hia. Dates to ye de hi denge.. we r actually wasting hell lot of tym on portal discussing.

can all of us,who applied to FMS, do onething....everyone try calling them up (specifically people who have calls in kolkata 18-24th range ) .... I dont understand its sheer irresponsibility of them....how can they arrange the call within the 2 weeks notice...They have mentioned only the range not exact date....and people are supposed to come from allover India....and it is true due to holi....all the ticket is getting booked....Is it really a good idea to hope only for the tatkal....and seniors plz try to understand everyone cant afford to take flight....besides its not a good thing to mention that "to study for such a small fee...u can invest that much(prev some senior said that)"....I am sure that people dont go to FMS only for that low fees...but for its reputation .... I want to mention one more thing there are courses like MBE and MFC in Du .... How many 99 percentiler go there...I just wanted to ask...
I am aghast at deafening silence of FMS . So much for management of their own Institute .
