[2013-2015] FMS Delhi Discussions

@FSOG : it was 66 .

@FSOG Hi are there any chances of getting call and converting the FMS on this profile:

CAT: OA-91.5 QA-94.03 VR:81.69
Category: OBC NC
10th- 76.4 12th:83.4 Btech:82.9
Work Experience: 18 months accenture

@GANESH87 I think i am asking an obvious question, but still due to confusion i cannot understand...will fms reopen admission?I missed the date ...will it help if i mail them? i have 97.37 %ile...will it be of any help? I am a fresher and financially a bit unstable, so fms would save me in a way.

My dear friend, you can choose not to believe if you want to. I did not impose what I quoted on anyone.

Obviously, I was not shooting arrows blindly, it is based on the GD/PI/Extempore marks released by FMS last year, and a few of my own estimates.

I have no intention of 'misleading' people as I have several better things to do.

Peace :)

To add to this, I'll present an analysis of my own:For 99.5+ anything over 15/30 in GD/PI/Extempore should get you a convert.For 99.3-99.5 anything over 19/30 should get you a convert.For 99.0-99.3 anything over 22/30 should get you a convert.For people below 99, anything over 25/30 should get you a convert. PS: A die hard FMS fan
Anyone above 99.5 %ile will have a total of 47.....adding 15 wll take it to 62 only....hence REJECTION

The truth of the matter is only people with more than 99.85% are at a advantage and those below 99 at a disadvantage and rest all have the same chance of converting.

Having said that, there was a person who converted his FMS at 44.something (286)...so they need to work extra hard.

Your analysis is really wayward and non-pragmatic.

PEACE !!
ciao

Ok mate!

No point in making all these speculations at this stage. It would be better to prepare for the gd/pi instead.

great analysis by both of u .. but i wish it worked that way..
you will get to know the randomness of the situation only when u are inside the interview room .. infact not even that .. it would be when the results are out ..
i highly suggest focus all ur energies on trying to impress the Panel .. i can assure u it is certainly doable :)

I did not get any acknowledgement from FMS confirming that my application form reached there. Also they will send a brochure right.. Did anyone get any ackno and brochure from FMS?
Last year they did not send any such thing. I doubt they would change the practice this year..

When will they declare the list of shortlisted candidate? any idea??

Very Accurate.. The cut off score last year was around 66.8 for the last list.. i have a score of 299/450(99.54 %ile) which will give me a score of 46.51 out of 70. Which means i still need to score 7/10 in all three. One can get away with a score of 15 only with a score of 340/450 which is more than 99.9 percentile.

@mayurdhingra

Hey. Do we need to send our scorecard to FMS in order to be shorlisted. There has hardly been any activity on the FMS site. How does the process usually proceed from this stage?

@s_murthi No u dont need to send scorecards.

@prateekjain90 Thanks for the info 😃

@mayurdhingra Dude while filling the form. i ticked working executive by mistake. thinking that it meant something else. i have applied only for pgdm. would this be a problem. do i need to contact admissions?
