"List of eligible candidates to be called for GD, PI for MBA (FT) is likely to be put on FMS website in the third week of February and the interviews are expected to be held in the third week of March, 2013." - This was mentioned in the website.

Hi,

One of my friends scored 87 percentile in CAT. He belongs to SC category. What are his chances of getting a call from FMS ?

CAT - OA - 87 ( QA - 79 & VA - 89 )
10th - 86.5%
12th - 94%
BTech - 4.9/10 (From IIT Madras)
Work Ex - 32 months.

@ShayRom3o Does Low CPI in his B Tech hinder his chances of getting a call ? He was telling me last time his friend with 80 percentile + 6.5 CPI got a call and got through while a person who got 89 percentile + 5.9 CPI didn't get a call even

@ShayRom3o But that CPI 6.0 is for general candidates, but for SC they just need to have qualifying marks it seems. Not sure though

Usually other colleges specifically mention that SC/ST candidates can have 55% percent or 5.5 CGPA/CPI but FMS hasn't explicitly mentioned it. Actually m also an SC candidate with 89 percentile and CGPA of 6.59

@ShayRom3o Then I guess you too have a fair chance of getting a call from FMS. Last time one of my friend with appx same CPI and percentile around 80 ( in your category) got a call and he converted it. So all the best for you :)

@Wilshere19 it's not politics dude. it's your society. go and see what happens in haryana or orissa or in the villages, what we- the general category people- do to the SC/STs. No one will utter a word against those atrocities. Ok you might have never done anything wrong and you might criticize the wrong doings in those villages, but these things are still there. We have to pay for the wrong doings of others and our forefathers (of the past 3000 years).
