@CATtch2011 There is nothing we are paying.We live in a society,everybody has a right to prosper,to grow.Somebody has to do a sacrifice to empower the society.Philosophy aside,there is more beyond reservation.You need to focus on that

@RAHULAN123 the problem is that our society has not been able to find out anything beyond reservation. we talk about aboloshing reservations, lots of my friends went to jantar mantar, lots of iitians, and people from aiims went to protest against reservation, but no one says anything (or protests) when a dalit dulha is shot down just because wearing a turban. or when a dalit girl is raped and burned (by 6 people of the affluent 'caste') in some remote village of haryana. when a dalit woman is stipped naked in front of the whole village just because his brother dared to propose a girl of the upper caste. i believe if you can't suggest or do anything to improve the plight of the SC/STs, you have no moral right to protest against reservation
@nishant6aug im not talking about the past events. take out any newspaper you will find an example of our so called glorified past happening (which are 'no wrong doings') in a village nearby you.
@CATtch2011 Bang on! I don't support reservation( by which I mean it should be reduced and completely abolished after graduation ), but I do feel for the points you have mentioned. We hear about thousands of females being assaulted, random firings and deaths in villages where majority of lower caste lives. But I hope you agree to the fact that reservation has neither done much good nor much bad. It is just there, leveraging the lower caste( mainly the creamy layer ) and making the ones not accessible to their right even worse. :)
To all the reservation vs anti reservation parties, please keep your fights, arguments, valid points or watever outside this forum. It will help save the original purpose of this thread.

yes , but then again one can't predict whether it is going to be the same again , it could go up or go down also

@backheel No idea dude .. This CAT exam and the selection criteria in these IIMs & other MBA colleges is completely random. First I need to study the selection criteria of IIMs and then give CAT I guess ;-)
