Yaar ab to 3rd week bhi chal raha hai, kab aayegi short-list?
Can anybody tell me whether FMS is shifting to its new campus in South delhi this year onwards or that has been delayed? 
not getting a call this year, but for next year i'm gearing up and since FMS is my dream college, I'd like to know this.
Does FMS give weightage to acads?
nd wat abt the weightage to extracurriculars?

@sachin_nitrkl Hi sir... my cat 2012 score is 99.51..got a call from I only...I am interested in joining a consulting firm after doing my MBA. Could you shed some light on why the big 4 of consultancy refrain from coming to FMS...? Isnt the level of consulting proficiency in students at FMS at par with that of IIM ABC...?
Any idea about the shortlist?

The Consulting scenario at FMS is not at par with A/B/C/L
If you are specifically looking at a Consulting Career, very good acads is a mandate.
Also, you need to have decent workex, and sector proficiency like Oil & Gas / Infrastructure/ Power etc is an advantage. What they mainly look at is acads....acads prior to ur MBA and acads at ur MBA. There are other finer things as well, but acads takes the precedence.

@GANESH87 but what if the acads are good?... still the students at FMS should get a chance to atleast sit in these companies... dont you think?

It is not about the consulting proficiency of FMS students being at par
with that of the IIM ABC students, rather it has got more to do with the
sheer number of ABC alumni working in these firms. Some of these firms
have a policy of hiring from these institutes only but yes, things are changing
and they are becoming more open to other premier institutes too.
Well, with the brand name of FMS, you can apply to these firms off-campus
and you might get a call provided you tick all the right boxes. There are FMS alumni
working in these firms but the number is not that great.
By the way, Booz and Company CEO from 2008-12, Mr Shumeet Banerji happens
to be an FMS alumnus.

2.What are the profiles offered for students interested in marketing? sales,marketing,consulting... and...?
Similairly for Finance.
3.Are their any profiles which need marketing and finance skills both(as a majority)
4.Also is it good to have an idea of the stream one wants to be in while going for the interview?
5.In general what is the rationale for not considering previous acads and extra curriculars?

last year they shortlisted 1200 students for 100 seats in the general category...
