What is the breakage given for past acads in giving final call after the gdpi? can u pls provide the weightage given to cat, work-ex, past acads, ec etc? it will be helpful to evaluate our profile

The breakup of weightages vary year to year . This is the tentative breakup :
1.Acads=10%
2.Work-ex=10%
3.CAT=50%
4. Essay=10%
5.Interview=20%

Can Anybody let me know the average salary and the total fees for IFMR ?/
Also the cut off for last year through XAT ?/

2. Total Fees: 10 lacs

my profile
10th cbse:85 percent
12th cbse:92 percent (commerce with mathematics)
graduation: 75.43 percent (symbiosis pune,passed out 2011)
currently: cleared icsi(company secretaries inter level)(rank holder) undergoing management trainig under the areas of capital restructuring ,and corporate laws(will be over by june next year) ,,finals are due by june next year..
new plans::want to go for icwai inter level next year on a part time study basis and preparng for xat/cat has (scored 80 percentile in xat 2012)
query::1.some people tell me that finance does not suits your profile but to me it interests the most ,your take??
2.my trainig is getng over by june next year so shud go for institute now or gear up next year???as for icwai trainig i want to claim exemption based on my placement from m.b.a college..
i can eve claim exemption on icsi trainig based on my work ex after m.b.a

Does IFMR accept GMAT scores? If so, what is the required GMAT score to be eligible for applying to the PGDM course?

1. In our senior batch we have people who have completed Company secretaryship . So it depend on your interest. If you want to get into investments, derivatives,corporate financing then MBA finance is the course to go for.

2.MBA courses start from July. So you can surely go for it this year. Why waste 8-9 months!!!

thanx a lot ,one more thing ,its related to survival at the b school,how a candidate like me use his background to the max of his advantage,both during the admissn process and the ultimate studies inside the school

Yes IFMR accepts GMAT scores. There is no fixed cut off it varies every year according to the applications we receive.

1.In the interview process you will get a lot of bonus marks for your additional degrees.

2. MBA has got lot of commerce and economics based courses. So you will definitely stand out from the crowd.

but by june i wud have only appeared for the finals ,reults are declared by september so my status by june wud be "icsi finals appeared" and "icwai inter appeared" with trainig of icsi completed do i still get bonus points??????

Pending results are not a problem as long as you have completed all requirements of the previous course. Also your training of ICSI is definitely going to give you an added advantage.

sorry to distrb you again, but these days a questn is killing me frm inside :
i work in a reputed CS firm ,my firm manages more than 700 companies both private and public ltd ,,we trainess are assigned tasks like
1.preapare a report on recent amendments and latest circulars by the ministry.
2. we make sure all the compliance requirements of a company under companies act
3.assisting directors and md s in their compliances
4.preparing the annual returns and directors report
5.drafting work and filling with mca offcourse
6.fema compliances for companies etc etc
my question is what i should look for in the training so that it is to the maximum of my advantage both for my career and selections
given that i dont want to go for cs in practice i want an mba in fianance

you ve told in earlier post that people who are qualified as cs are in your college ,if u can ,please consult them and help me out so that i get FOCCUSED

I saw in the site saying from selected universities having CGPA abv 7 can apply directly for IFMR FE . I did my graduation from velammal engineering college ( anna university ) secured university rank 38 in the dept of EIE among all the colleges under under anna university with aggregate of 84 % . I would like to know can i apply directly for IFMR FE . ?
