i applied to both MFC and MBE and sent the DD and application receipt.

Question: Will i get any notification when my application is received? And will they send the Prospectus by courier or by general mail?

Can some one tell which is the flagship course? MFC or MBE? and whats the difference between the 2?

Department will not give you any notification regarding the application. You will get you the prospectus through Speed post.

Both are the flagship courses of different department within Delhi University. The only two things common between them is the 'GD/PI process' and 'College building'.

Go through the prospectus for more details on the courses. (Link is given in the first post of this thread)

iamnishant - I have 10th- 80.80
12th - 74.40
maths 12- 74
B.Tech- 71.42

After going through the previous posts... I felt that my chances for getting a call from MFC are very bleak.... Because even if i get 99+%ile in CAT... My overall score would be around 87.xxxx.......

What would you suggest applying to both or just MBE.... Considering the last year's scenario.... I dont think there will be much variation in the cut-offs.....

Kabhi socha nhi tha bachpan ke paap....bad me bhari padenge...

You have to send the printout of the application form (filled online) as well as the Demand draft to the institute's address.

ibad's score is coming out to be 88.55. Both of you have the same case. As it is close to the last year's score we cannot comment about it. As said earlier that cutoffs may go up or down, and it totally depends upon the pool of people applying to college, so make your decision accordingly.

I think there would be some problem with the format you are filling in. You have to enter digits to a single decimal place. For e.g. 89.8

Have you tried 95.0, because that would be the correct format to enter the percentage as specified on the website. PM means personal message.
