Hey.... i encountered a problem regarding class 10th percentage while filling the admission form....
We had 5 sujects in class 10th namely, English, Mathematics, Science and technology, Social science and second language ( one out of Hindi or Sanskrit). I had Sanskrit and my final percentage of 92% was calculated after considering all the five subjects. However, for the CBSE board examination, students with Sanskrit were given the option of appearing for Hindi as well. We only had to pass the exam so as to avail the benefits of clearing Hindi till 10th class. However, these marks were never added to our percentage as this was a sixth subject for us and class 10th has only 5 subjects. In the form, it has been mentioned that we have to include the marks of all the subjects. So could you please tell me whether I should include the marks of this sixth subject (Hindi) as well.

Please refer to our first post for last year's Index cutoff.
And the year before that we used to conduct our own examination , hence that cutoff is worthless now.
All above please refer to our first post and try to calculate the index score yourself, PM me for any doubts in calculation of index scores.

I have confirmed from our admissions office that you just have to use 5 subjects' marks for final percentage calculation. Remove the optional.
But that's not valid for people from ICSE board.
