Now considering the last year cut off for general category be 90.33 and assuming that it goes up to 90.4.. which means that i require (90.4-18.4) i.e 72 marks to get a GD/PI call.. i.e my percentile should be.. (72/75 *100) i.e 96 percentile.. Am i correct in my calculation??

u r still lucky enuf to get a call at 96.......if u consider my case i will not get a call even if i get a 102 percentile in CAT.....dats MFC for u....ATB

Fortunate that I went through this thread before applying. My score will be as follows:
Class 10th - 89.33% - 8 (grading)
Class 12th - 83.8% - 7 (grading)
Class 12th Maths - 80/100 - 2 (2.5% weightage)
This totals to 17. Considering that the cut-off for this year goes to 91, I'll need 91-17=74 from CAT. To get 74 from CAT I'll need a percentile of 74/0.75=98.66 percentile.
In CAT 2012, I attempted 17 in Section I, and 28 in section II. Assuming an accuracy of 80% overall, is it possible for me to get 98-99 percentile? I don't think so 😞 So, Delhi University is already over for me.

CAT is the sole criterion for applying to MIB, Last year, the cut off was 93.xx%tiles. And Dont have exact idea about the last date, but as far as I know, it is 14th december. Though you may refer the website.

Yes, your calculations are right.
Just one correction in previous year cutoff part, it was 90.38 (General category).
One thing I want to emphasize here is that cutoffs for this year can go down because cutoffs are based on the pool of students applying and their respective index score which no one even the admission committee can't predict at this stage.
@BrooklynYou are supposed to get the email confirmation when your application form and Demand draft reaches admission coordinator.Message me your name, application number and DD no. and I will confirm it with the department's office whether they have received it or not.
