for both MFC n MBE 1800 + postage 😃
@iamnishant ::@kshitiz_mfc
In the instruction it is given as"The percentage should be computed after taking into account all subjects/papers that you appeared for in the examination even if some of these subjects/papers are not considered by the Board/ University/ Institute for computing the final percentage of marks and awarding class/distinction."
In my XII standard marksheet the total marks is strictly mentioned as 452.However i had an extra subject where i scored 80/100.So what % will be considered in MFC-DU application?
452/5=90.4 or 532/6=88.7..???...

@kshitiz_mfc:

can you please tell me at what position people from MFC generally get their final placement in organization like:

1.Top management:- Manger

2. middle management:- Executive Manger

3.Lower Management:-Assistant Manger

These information will be really helpful in deciding the future prospects.

@Dipank

As per the instructions mentioned, it is clear that you should also include the 6th subject if you were awarded marks (and not grade only) in that subject.

But I will confirm this with office and let you know tomorrow for sure.
I have done diploma instead of XII.... can I apply to MBE and MFC??????

Hi Seniors,

I am a Engineering graduate from University of Mumbai. And as per the University Norms, we need to consider only the final year marks for graduation percentage calculation.

I just need to confirm whether we need to enter the aggregate of all four years in the application form or just the degree percentage as our University norms?

Thanks.

I am new in this thread and I would like to appear for cat 2013. MFC is in my prority list. My profile is : Class X -66% (West Bengal Board)

Class XII -72.6% ( Commerce)(West Bengal Board) , Business Math ( 25/50) as it was my additional subject

B.Com ( Accounting & Finance) - 71.25%

MFA/ CFA(ICFAI, Tripura) - 60%

PGDBO (IFBI) - 75%

1 year experience in bank and almost 4 years in Big 4 in offshore taxation (US).

However, I am concerned that at the time of interview my age would be like 28+, does it make any significant difference in the interview process and my final selection on the ground of over age for this course?

On a separate note, I want a change in my current job profile and not interested to go for Executive MBA.

Please let me know the chance of my final selection considering my profile (assuming my CAT score meet the initial call requirement for next level)

Thanks in advance!

We don't have any cutoff for reserved category seats so I cannot comment on you chances of getting a call this time as it is dependent on the no. of application received in NC-OBC category and their respective index scores.

Last year criteria was to call 5 times the number of seats for the category.

For example: we have 12 seats for NC-OBC category and if the number of applications received exceed 60 (12*5) then we'll call top 60 applicants on the basis of their respective index scores.

can anyone tell me the reason why the pagalguy has given MFC rank as 52nd ???
please give reply .

@sudhir007

Positions offered in Final placements are mostly of entry level in the organisation but in case if you have relevant prior experience in the field then you can negotiate for one level above the entry level during the interview.
