You can apply under NC-OBC category if you have NC-OBC certificate to produce at the time of GD/PI. There is no issue of contradiction with the category filled in CAT.
As several times mentioned in the previous posts - GD/PI cutoffs for all categories are relative and will be decided only after taken into consideration: Index scores of applications received & Call ratio. So we cannot comment as of nowwhether you will get the GD/PI call or not . PM me if you have any specific query.

Considering previous year cutoff, you should target at least 95 percentile in CAT to be on safe side, but again I want to emphasize that it is just an estimate, the actual cutoffs may go up or down this year.
seniors, i have a doubt in filling form.It has given work exp as in month on 30.11.2011...but rit now its 2012.it is printed right or wrong i don't know.i have 1 yr 3 month till date.
should i write 6th month exp as it is written work exp as in month on 30.11.2011or total exp of 1 yr 3 month till 1st Oct 2012.... plz help me....need your suggestion...!!!!
