Now i'm seriously afraid... didn't get any confirmation from SCIT till now. My dd got delivered on 15th march and still the site has not been updated and no mail confirmation too.
@ameyamestry - I am far behind(167 OC) - but this is my only option this year so you can understand my optimistic ooze :P

Hello Puys, this is my first ever post on this thread as well as on PG.Now as i confirmed that this year i am finally going to join one of the best IT - B schools in India i.e. SCIT, so i would like to take this moment as a great proud for me to be the part of this premier institute.
But i have some doubts which i think can be addressed at best only here, so respected seniors and fellow SCITians ,i expect from u guys to answer my queries.so here it goes.........
1)my profile 10th-76%,12th-79%,btech(IT)-77%,IT exp.-21 months....with this pofile and good performance over the next 2 years can i target the best companies with best job profile at the time of placement or somewhere it can be problem that people with 2-4 years of exp only will be given preference over others.
2)As far as my work-ex is concerned, i am working on CRM domain of banking product that mainly deals with banking functionality.....so considering that which elective would be most suited to me.I am confused b/w systems and SSM.
3)As i want to take the role of business analyst so which option will fetch this profile.
4)what all certifications we can do during these 2 years .Does college provide any assistance for certifications or we have to take care of it by ourselves?
5)For which domain most of the companies come for placement ,do they put any criteria like (systems,ISS,SSM etc.)based on job profile which they are offering or there is no such criteria, anyone can sit for any profile.
6)During the time of selecting electives ,we have to select 2 electives in a semester ,so can we choose these 2 electives from 2 different courses or it should be from same course.and whatever domain we select in 1st sem ,do we have to stick with that domain for the next 3 semesters also...
Hope nobody will mind such a big post (still sorry for the same)but as this is my first and also hoping to be the last provided that i will get my answers ,then no need to ask any further quesn.

@sany_06 Hi dude...even my dad was out of station till date and i didn't send the undertaking form cuz i need his signature...sent a mail to [email protected] didn't get any confirmation till now. Did you get any confirmnation from scit?

Hi.. , i have an experience of 2 years.. I am planning to take a sabbatical leave.In that case, would I be allowed to sit for the placemnts in SCIT. do the companies take students on a sabbatical so that later i have a choice to select btwn the companies. So just wanted to know if thats a good idea?

@shr0207 I think if you are not under any obligation from your previous employer to join back after two years (say they make you sign a bond or something), you can safely appear for placements. Even I am planning the same thing, but at my organization, they allow us to resign while we are on leave..

Got the credentials for Pre-induction...now what's the dead line? When we need to complete this? And all the guys whose admission is confirmed...can we have a separate group on Facebook ? So, we can interact and post queries on Pre-induction
