Hi guys. I m interested in applying for SCIT. But i have an aggre of 57.33 in engg so should i apply to SCIT. Does work ex is considered by SCIT??

Reply asap guys..

@sushantp777

@sushantp777 Hi dude,
I think 55+ grauation wont create any issue. Even I have second class in HSC. Just try to kill SNAP & GD , PI.
If you have work ex then it will be advantage..(but if u dont have then still no issues..)
Have u applied to SICSR (Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research)??

@Manojp24 Students from all backgrounds can apply for SCIT. We have students from commerce background too in our batch. All you need to have is an inclination and interest towards Information Technology.

Key to GDPI of SCIT or any other college is simple, keep your self calm and convey your ideas in the GD and strong basics of your engineering/IT & maybe related to workex should be enough for PI.
@sushantp777 There is no Graduation % Cut off as such for SCIT, it will evaluated during your GDPI only. Work Experience & Extra Curriculars are considered during Personal Interview Stage.
@SreeSharan.s : Thanks for the reply , i had another doubt in my mind though this would be a bit early to ask what if i am interested in 2 areas of specialisation lets say Infosec and Infra can i take apply for both
@Manojp24 : No i havent applied to any of the colleges.. But wanna apply to two colleges atleast. So i was thinking to apply to SCIT and SCMHRD.. Wat about SICSR? And thanks for the reply..

hello,

my profile is as follows, pl tel the chances
10th: 88%
12th: 81%
graduation (B.tech in IT): 80.33%
currently in final year... good enough extra-activities... but what worries me is that i do not have work-ex...but yes, i have made 2 small projects in CMS and wil hav 6months ,6days a week industrial training where i ll be doing a live project... i am really interested to get in scit...

So, is my profile lil bit pleasing ?

@sushantp777 Hi dude, SICSR is also good college. Becoz i have checkd it syallabus and it is combination of Management + Technical. Since I am into technical I think its good for us..!
So if u want you can apply SICSR also. I have applied to SICSR and SCHMRD. and also applying to SCIT.
Think about it... All d best..! :-)

@Praveen28 Yes you are free to select elective courses from different specializations.
