is there any chance of getting a call for gd-pi, seniors please help
With 69.5 percentile Can anyone suggest which b schools under symbiosis to apply for???
@srikanthm1987 i saw post in last years thread that there was a separate cut off for GE/PI is it true???

@srikanthm1987 nw tht is really informative, bt as u knw thr is no relation between IT and Delhi rape case, so Genral Awareness related to evry field is necesary ? and do GD topics vil b such, or relatd to IT only..!!

Does PI needs DETAILED knowledge of each engg. subject?? or just gud knwlge of any specific subject??? plz help...dat will help in preparation

Hi ,
Be prepared for everything. It will all depend on the interviewer to what depth he wants to test your knowledge . Most of the times , they will ask about your final year project if you are freshers and the subjects you like and if you have work experience , it would be mostly related to your work.
Just be sure about what you know and what to say , that will help !!

i got 42.343%tile n 57 marks category SC is there any chance to get call ???

You never know what topics would come up for GE.So its better to have knowledge about current events.The topics may or may not be IT centric.Last year there was a written test followed by a Picture GE in which we were shown a picture and asked to discuss on it.The second GE was a normal GE which was case based.This was followed by two PI's.This was the procedure followed last year.This years GE-PI is also expected to be on similar lines .

Shortlisting for GE-PI is based on your SNAP percentile.Your final selection depends on your SNAP percentile as well as your performance in GE-PI.
