Summer Internships are not as great as the Final Placements. Around 25 Companies have visited the campus for Summers last year. Profiles/Roles are usually of Business Analyst, Market Research, Business Development, Consulting Etc. Summer Internship Stipend usually varies from anywhere between 5k to 30k per month.

Person having WORK EXPERIENCE shouldn't look for SCIT. They can easily get the jump in SALARY after 2 years what they expect from college.

look at the cut off for scmhrd,this year it will increase for scit too

@pratik5317 Dude its not always regarding salary,I believe ppl look for a vertical shift to better suited roles for them like management or research and acccordingly select the PG stream..and believe me you need to work for 2 years atleast to understand which role suits you best. Also the market at this point of time is not as gr8 as 2005-06.. You dont get expected salary hikes even after making 2-3 switches. So I think SCIT is not a bad deal at all if you consider all these factors. :)

Even in pg's B-School ranking it is on 70th rank.
So its better for them to try next year for better clgs then this.

dude I don't understand on what factors this ranking is made.If u knw please clarify.Because I could see so many clgs in these rankings which comes in 3rd tier collges lyk wellingkar,BIMTECH, ITM,Doon dehradun etc.
i never said SCIT is a bad school or good school..i was just amazed to see that such a good school is not on the list of India Today Business school rankings.because many students believe in India Today Rankings.
