Hi guys,

I failed to receive GE/PI calls frm SCIT. What abt PGDITBM ??

Is it as good as MBA-IT..?

What profile is offered after PGDITBM..?

and wat is avg package is offered??

Can GE include stuffs related to Politics or Other Stuffs or it will be strictly related to IT ?

Hi,
GE can include anything.It is not limited to IT.Please prepare current topics and read the newspaper regularly.

I had registered for SCIT and scored 84.xx percentile in SNAP. Now when I go to the SCIT website and click the GE/PI result link, the message displayed is -
"We thank you for your interest in Symbiosis Centre For Information Technology. The last date of online registration and payment for MBA 2012-14 was 10th Jan 2012."

Can anyone please help me here??

This is the first batch for PGDITBM.
PGDITBM is a one year program which focusses on developing a Business Management professional for the IT. It is for people having a minimum of 18 months work ex in IT domain.

Hi,
Last year we had a normal case based GE and One GE in which we were shown a picture and asked to discuss on it.It was not limited to IT.For more inforamtion you can refer last year's thread.It is expected to be on similar lines though its always better to be prepared for everything.

I got shortlisted for the GD PI round.
Wanted to know what document should i provide as "IT related work experience"? Should i provide my payslips?

Hi,
You can bring your work experience certificate for your past employers and joining letter along with your 3 latest payslips for the current employer.

Hi,
Minimum 18 months full time work experience in IT domain, as on May 31, 2013 is the criteria for eligibility.It is tough to predict the placement scenario as this is the first batch.Subjects covered by full time faculty members and industry experts.
