Hi Srikant, thanks for the info. It is useful. One more query, I have not received any email from SCIT about short listing. I found it by my self by logging in on website and it says that I am shortlisted. Is there any reason to worry?

Hi, There are no usual topics for GE-PI.Its better to be prepared with everything like current affairs,politics...etc..It is not limited to IT.Refer to previous year's thread for getting an idea.It could be on similar lines.

GE-PI will be conducted at SCIT campus, Pune. There are ample of Hotels around the campus for accommodation. We will be mailing the details of the hotels around for your help.

Congrats for getting short-listed!
Work ex along with other factors like past academic records, extra curriculum activities, certifications etc. have weightage of only 20 marks in the final selection criteria. For the rest 80 marks, you have an equal advantage. So I feel you stand a fair chance to convert your call, just perform well in GE-PI. All the best!
what about those who have not made it ?? The mentioned cut off is 57.2 is percentile or marks?? what about the second list??
Hi, The mentioned cut-off is SNAP percentile and not marks.
Unfortunately only the one's shortlisted for the GE-PI will be a part of the admission process further. Waiting list (if any) would only be from the short-listed candidates. The rest will have to try next year :-(

I request all the seniors to take some time out and share their GE/PI experiences. It will help to give us some direction. Also, any other tips or suggestions, apart from reading newspapers and ET (since these are already mentioned in posts above), would be great!
Hi Admission TeamCan you please throw some light on PGDITBM.(Is there a separate thread on PG?)1- How is the curriculum different from the one offered in MBAITBM. 2- How many credit points are offered under MBAITBM, as mentioned on your site PGDITBM offers 50 credit points.3- Is the faculty same for both courses?4- Will placement process be common for both courses.Thanks in Advance.
