Got a call from scit,so i just need to confirm that i want to do an mba in itbm as i am having IT exp of 1.5 years but plz tell me that is it worth of taking around 9 lacs(fees i think) loan and do an mba.As i am not very strong financially and also have to pay my edu loan for Btech,i want to get an idea whether SCITcan provide me good return on investment with good job opportunities after 2 years of mba.
plz help me out so that i can get out of this perplexing situation ,whether to do an mba from scit or not.
seniors plz guide me.

It is really difficult to comment on whether you should go for it or not.
It is important for you to understand and know what you expect out of an MBA.
ROI should be both in terms of profile as well as package offered and not only on packages offered.MBA in ITBM will give your career a boost and offer you better profiles like Business analyst,consultant,Project management roles etc which is difficult to get in case of a person without an MBA degree.
The placement statistics for the 2010-2012 batch is there on our website.It will give you a fair idea about the placements.
My suggestion would be to first decide what you are looking for in an MBA course.Once that is done all your questions will be anwered automatically.

Hi guys, After pursuing PGDITBM course, while interviewing companies gives 1st preference to PGDITBM or MBA-ITBM..? Can v compare PGDITBM & MBA-IT..?

@Manojp24 : These two courses are completely different and companies have different requirements for these two courses all together . So, we cannot compare the two.
As already shared by sharan earlier , the course will begin from June and will run rigorously till January-Feb, there after there will be time allocated to complete the "Project" (Part of the curriculum) which is a 8 Credit Course. Placements will be expected to begin during this period.
The idea of the course being offered to only experienced candidates (18+) is to provide Industry Ready Students for immediate joinings which meets the requirement of the companies seeking to hire in January-Feb

@deepalityagi thnxx... I am actually anxious abt PGDITBM...I wish to do it.. but I again questn arises in my mind tat if companies didnt accept it then or after pursuing it can v call ourselves tat v r equivalent of MBA..?

This course has been made available to the Indian Student only after gathering requirements /needs from the industry .

@jpgl Dude,SCIT is a very good b school and has a consistent placement record. I am also an aspirant like you,we should first concentrate on converting the call,we'll have sufficient time to think if we should take admission or not,because there will be very tough competition for every seat in any good b school! 😃 Hope this helps you,or else you can PM any senior on the thread!
